The Best Recipe Book

rabon36 on

What an amazing idea ! I love it , love it, love it ! It’s having a recipe book of the world at your finger tips and with contributions from so many amazing chefs. I have been looking up ideas and cooking several meals in the week from this and it has my first port of call.

Lots of new vegetarian ideas using in season vegetables and fruit. Easy to save your favourites.

Excellent app

Killinho on

Really enjoyed using the new Feast app. It’s the first recipe app I’ve used and it is very user friendly, well thought out, and so far has an excellent evolving list of recipes

beautiful photos and really useful to access and save recipes. Would be great if one could do a search of an ingredient

All the recipes at your thumbtips

Paule39 on

Superb addition to the Guardian family-easy to follow and search recipes, no more cutting out from the paper, easy to bookmark. Great selection of recipes and hopefully some videos may be added in future versions. Well done Guardian team

Not nice to use

bunbunbunface on

There’s undoubtedly great content here but the app is half-baked. The search function is not very sophisticated, and the keyboard is always popping up or staying up when it’s not necessary, making it a frustrating user experience. Also, on the newspaper app comments are such a useful component of recipes, so it’s really a loss not to have them. I am astonished this is a paid app given how poor it is functionally - I was given a free 6 months access because I subscribe to the Guardian. I use the newspaper recipes a lot, but there’s no way I’d pay money for this will continue to just use the Guardian app for recipes.

Really good recipe app

Trumpet 14 on

I am very happy with this app. It is a good addition to my recipe books and assorted other recipes I keep. Its functionality is good, it is good to be able to flag up favourites and to be able to add notes to a particularly good recipe.

Brim full of good ideas

Oak at the Crossroads on

The chefs provide a hugely varied growing encyclopaedia of recipes for different diets. Some are more complex, some have more challenging ingredients. All are well written. There’s something for everyone.

Great collection of recipes

I can't be myself! on

Love this app - so many recipes, nicely grouped, by many famous chefs. You can also search for recipes using a particular ingredient which is handy. I like that I can also save recipes.
