Habitica is a free habit-building and productivity app that uses retro RPG elements to gamify your tasks and goals.
Use Habitica to help with ADHD, self care, New Year’s resolutions, household chores, work tasks, creative projects, fitness goals, back-to-school routines, and more!
How it works:
Create an avatar then add tasks, chores, or goals you’d like to work on. When you do something in real life, check it off in the app and receive gold, experience, and items that can be used in-game!

Update bug??
Usually lve the app, but it updated today, and now it wont open properly. Every single time I try to open it, it just shuts down. Hopefully this hasnt happened to everyone, but can you fix it please??
Could be great
If it weren’t for that tasks disappear and reappear randomly. As a person who is on the sometimes-it-is-hard-work-to-get-out-of-bed level, I can’t use an app that has this bug.
Very slow
Great app and ideas, but the team *needs* to work on app performance. The app regularly spends 5 seconds responding to simple requests.
Good way to track habits – unlimited habits for free
The gameification aspect of it is nice, I also like that you can track unlimited amounts of habits. I guess the ui and so on could be nicer, but it works!
Fun but malfunctioning
It was a pretty fun way to keep track of habits, but grew boring after a month’s time. I had to delete the app as it stopped updating/resetting my dailies each morning. When adding new tasks/habits, the app shuffles them around randomly after you sort them. It said you could make a party to do quests with other users, but didn’t let you know how to get in contact with others.
