So I downloaded this app to test it out and it loaded an already made project so I decided to create one but I have to pay to probably almost everything and to make a project so I deleted this crappy app.

A baffling disappointment

You can’t record mono tracks? Really? No drum machine built in, no decent loop library. I’ve used Cubase in many forms for years and this version is bafflingly poor. Free DAWs like Waveform and Bandlab are far superior for what I need.

Doesn’t support zoom h8!!!

Why does this app doesn’t support my brand spanking new zoom h8!? After downloading the app I’m asked to connect my supported device. I have done that and nothing happens! It doesn’t recognise the device!

Not connecting to my device!

I bought a Steinberg audiointerface and upon discovery of this Software an original iPhone camera kit to use my IPhone 14 as a mobile recording solution. Doesn’t work!

Pointless

Steinberg is constantly behind iOS releases and audio interfaces firmware. Therefore none of the UR-C devices are ever working with iPads. This means that you not only shouldn't buy the app but also should not buy their interfaces if you planning to use them with iOS. The whole thing is totally pointless.

No info on full upgrade terms!

So you expect me to purchase an in-app upgrade which, since I can’t find any info on, won’t necessarily be transferred to future update, or give me the ability to download the fully featured app? So as far as I understand the “fully featured" purchase will be limited to v3 only! I’ve read through your documentation and found 0 info about this, so thanks for wasting my time with this 30 min demo of a heavily cut down simple daw. Hardly a good customer experience! Edit: thanks for the completely unrelated response. I've made up my mind to not deal with Steinberg or this app

Trustworthy, stable software for pro recording

This has never failed me and I have produced professional audio recordings that are now on Audible with Cubasis. It is easy to configure, easy to use, and easy to name and export recordings, and has a live monitor for audio recording and is easy enough to use with a stylus on the touch screen to do edits during recording sessions. I can work on this for 8 hours at a stretch with no glitches and it has never crashed or hung which is essential when spending time doing professional recordings. I am leaving a good review as I hope this continues to be supported and people continue to use it - it is especially good on the ipad mini which I use to record in my recording booth, with a Yamaha-Steinberg AI and the apple USB\power connector.

Totally inaccessible application

Way to go Steinburg! Working hard to exclude millions of users who utilise the accessibility features of the Apple devices. Sadly, as a severely visually impaired user your application doesn’t work with any of the Apple accessibility features and is completely hopeless as a result. Given that there are over 12 million users with visual impairment this seems like a major flaw in your business decision. I hope you can resolve this issue as right now it is completely unusable for me and it’s preventing me from buying the full version.

Not that helpful, you’re probably better off watching a bunch of YouTube videos then buying, or not, the full version.
