Absolute trash company it buys random packages with my credit that i have not authorised for extortionate prices. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Using a Hotlink SIM from Maxis, this app has been useful to get online whilst travelling. Only used a couple of the principle functions, but nothing unusual in the usage.

Will allow you to register yourself as a tourist from another country but will not allow you to pay using a foreign credit card, so what’s the point? Made it so difficult I gave up trying and found a more reputable SIM to use for my vacation here.

As many other people mentioned you cannot top up to the correct amount so you always have stupid left over credit to buy packages for the right value. Luckily I was at a store and asked them to correct the amount because they were walking me through the steps to do the top up and when I couldn’t purchase the package I said I wanted despite following the steps they refunded me the credit card charge. I cannot believe there is no warning that they’ll be taking money off the top.

The app is slow to load and can only handle one number at a time. So far ai am unable to make payment through this app. When making payment, the payment page did not allow scrolling up and down to allow you to press next after you input your bank details. For e-wallet touch and go it is even worse. There’s no button forward so you just stuck there in limbo. I used to be easier with Hotlink Postpaid app but now you’re stuck with this app.

To top up your phone you’d think you would just have to select a package and pay for it. But no, first you have to top up your credit and then pay for the package using your credit. But between those two things they will take tax off so your 60RM paid only becomes 56RM of credit. There’s no way to pay tax at the credit stage so that you actually get the amount that you want in your account. So then you have to top up your credit again. I’ve never seen a more needlessly complicated way of doing things and it’s entirely designed to make you pay more than you want to. I’m sure having everyone paying a little bit more than they need to is a nice little earner for Maxis though. I also find it bizarre that when your package runs out, this isn’t one of the apps that still works. Facebook does but the app that would allow you to buy more credit doesn’t.

The app just show ‘active until’ without having the expiry date

Still can’t top up my prepaid account using my credit card. Used to be able to do this no problem, but it has stopped working suddenly. The payment looks like it goes through with notifications from Maxis and my bank, but the updated balance is not reflected on my app and Maxis claim to have no record of the transaction. No call back from the tech dept to address the issue either.

Started a few months ago, under the balance, it doesnt show until when my sim card is active. It only says Active until. Can you help?
