Description
Los equipos comerciales HP equipados con el recurso HP Sure Admin pueden administrar el acceso al firmware, usando seguridad basada en pares de clave pública/privada. Este recurso brinda mayor seguridad mediante una solución típica basada en contraseña. Aunque este recurso funciona de forma impecable cuando el administrador gestiona el firmware de forma remota, hay casos en que el personal de TI local (o usuarios) necesitan autenticar sus identidades en el firmware (por ej., para acceder a la utilidad de configuración del BIOS - F10). En tales casos, el firmware mostrará un código QR, que el personal de TI local puede escanear con la aplicación HP Sure Admin Mobile, para generar un único PIN que puede introducirse en el firmware para autenticar al usuario.
