IFTTT Reviews

Nothing works

iBloke.v1 on

Australia

I’ve had this app for several years and not once has any applet worked. I was just going through all my installed apps deleting any I have no further use for. IFTTT is included in the cull. They offer two free applets but charge a considerable amount for any extras. Save yourself the money and frustration by looking for something else that actually does what it’s supposed to do. Zero stars

App crashes:(

Unable to use at all :(

Now useless if you don’t pay

I’ve been using IFTT for years as a free user. About to cancel because nothing works now.

Money grabbing

Hiraz76 on

Used free service for years to do very simple tasks … worked great - then they make those feature “pro” without notice. Uninstalling.

Looks full featured but seems like there is little support

Sebtakiller on

Australia

I purchased IFTTT because it stated it was compatible with smartlife. I made the purchase, but found that of the 15 devices I have, not a single one is “compatible” with ifttt and none were detected. Had I known that nothing was going to work I would not have subscribed. I tried to get support to understand if I was doing something wrong, but it seems there isnt anything other than AI powered KB articles which didn’t help.

Ok but not great

Some Applets fail to run. Unable to delete old disused applets. Seems to be many bugs.

Not as advertised

Return 101 on

Australia

The app does not show the location of last caller. It’s definitely indicated that was Available however once I subscribed that particular application vanished . I thought maybe it was installed automatically however after receiving calls it was not I immediately deleted the app and won’t bother again . If by some miracle tnus app can provide such a service in the future then there will be heaps of other far more user friendly services available also . I’m deleting a suggest don’t install

Awesome app

GeeBeeAU on

Pairs well with homebridge for HomeKit using webhooks and integrations - easy to start and then get more technical later

Terrible App

This App doesn’t work and won’t let you delete your account!

How many years has this run silently?

dr3adpirat3dBse on

Australia

Man I can’t remember how long I’ve used IFTTT, but it just ticks along, silently doing its thing. And boy, has it saved me many times. Legit, rule of thumb: redundancy. Two is one, and one is none. Remember that. And thanks to the awesome community that contribute to the growing recipes. See you tomorrow Indiana Jones. Because thanks to IFTTT, there’s always the promise of that tomorrow. *drops mic* M.
