It’s good

It’s great. I just think that the fact that you can only add one applet without paying was a little low.

This is so far interesting. The part I have been using is interfacing our system with my own applets a lot of fun

Completely Unreliable

disjensb on

United States

My initial excitement from the discovery I could automate a lot of simple annoying tasks was quickly ruined after realizing how little this app actually runs successfully. Some things work fine but I get more “this applet failed to run” notifications than the other way around. It could be an awesome experience but even after troubleshooting with their support team the experience is very underwhelming.

Nothing works anymore. Thank you for letting me try the pro version for free for a week so I could see nothing works with Google Home or Philips Hue

Free account

At some point IFTTT has changed the data collection from the Tempest weather station. Before, Nov. 2024, it was once a minute. During Nov. 2024 the free account is once an hour and paid account is once every 5 minutes. Makes the Tempest app worthless.

Went from great to worse…

A few years ago, I created several applets using the free version, which allowed me to create and delete with ease. Although the functionality was limited, it was sufficient for simple automations. I understand the need for a subscription model for more complex automation and advanced features, or even limiting free applets to 5-10. However, now I can't use any of my old applets or create new ones without a subscription. It used to be a fantastic app for simple automations, but unfortunately, it has followed the path of many others looking to monetize.

Super bad don’t download

They stole our lifetime accounts

Years ago we were sold lifetime subscriptions pricing. I took that option, have been a loyal customer for years, then this year they rug pulled us and walked it back. Don’t trust a business that would go back on their word like that.
