This application is a multilingual Japanese dictionary that does not require an internet connection.
Imiwa? was created using the amazing JMdict files from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group based on the work of Jim Breen on the EDICT project.
While some definitions are available in 4 languages (English, French, Russian and German), only the English translation is guaranteed for all entries in the JMDict dictionary. Initiate a search in any of those 4 languages, in Japanese or in romaji and imiwa? will do the rest.
imiwa? Also includes a rich database of kanji (KanjiDic), examples (from tatoeba.org) and conjugations as well as tools suitable for beginners.
Use the Traditional Chinese character recognition keyboard included in the iOS system for drawing kanji on screen.

Très bien pour apprendre les kanjis. Le meilleur dico que j’ai pu trouver
Dico au top pour apprendre le japonais
Voc, phrase d'exemple, etc. Ce dictionnaire est devenu un indispensable. Possibilité aussi de créer plusieurs listes de voc et ensuite de se l'envoyer par mail pour ensuite créer éventuellement un desk dans Anki et facilité la révision et le tout en 2,3 clic. Un vrai plaisir. La dernière mise à jour corrige des bugs et améliore encore un peu l'interface. Essayer c'est l'adopter.

Fantastische app. Enorm uitgebreid woordenboek, herkent vervoegde vormen, voorbeeldzinnen, verschillende kanji-lijsten, strak uiterlijk,...
Un allié portable
Lorsque je me suis rendu au Japon, j'étais souvent perdu devant l'immensité des mots que je ne connaissais pas. Ma curiosité et mon envie de survie m'ont poussé à rechercher le sens de ces mots ; je me suis alors tourné vers Imiwa. Celui-ci m'a aidé dans toutes mes recherches de vocabulaire, peu importe la difficulté ou la rareté du mot. Même les expressions ne lui échappent pas. Tout apprenant en japonais se doit de télécharger cette application s'il souhaite constater de nets progrès dans son japonais. Par ailleurs les coréanisants et sinisants se réjouiront des prononciations coréennes et chinoises des kanjis.

Bonne application assez complète Dommage qu'elle nous offre pas un système de conjugaison Genre on tape un verbe ou un adjectif qui se conjugue et on nous donne la table de conjugaison de ce mot Et un petite explication de quand utiliser le temps
