I really like the app, the interface, and its overall design and content. However, it’s TOO glitchy (I am using iPhone 13, iOs 18.1, but the app already glitched on earlier versions). Shortly after running the app, tapping the text field often does nothing. It takes several taps to access the text field and type or paste something in. Additionally, whenever I copy a word or sentence on my phone and then open the app (or reactivate it if it’s already open), it immediately asks if I want to paste it into the text field. This behavior is very annoying. I’ve had to switch to a different dictionary because of these issues. Please address these bugs.

Incredible well designed and comprehensive with everything from stroke orders to example sentences from various languages for context. A godsend for learning Japanese.

This app is great!! Customizable and uses a lot of languages for translation. I just wish it was possible to search kanjis by writing them with our fingers i stead of typing/radicals/SKIP since unknown kanjis can be tricky to decipher. Maybe also an overall possible translations feature in the analyzer tool?

As someone who is fluent in Japanese, I use this app to read kanji I don’t know or forgot to read. I love that you can copy text from a browser or book and the app automatically “pastes” it for you when you open it.

It offers in detail definitions of unpleasant or derogatory words applicable to other peoples but white-wash what is unpleasant to the writers herein. That is, even when compared to other reference materials. Egregious.

I use this app so much. The layout is fantastic, I love that you can use it offline, and the way it shows you the stroke order for kanji is incredibly useful. I definitely recommend this app to anyone learning Japanese.

Love this app since I first got it and it's a major reason I stay on ios. Out of the box, no connection needed, translates Japanese-English (or a few others), one box, in a clean design, plus easy kanji search methods. 6 stars.
