Imiwa? was created using the amazing JMdict files from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group based on the work of Jim Breen on the EDICT project.
Use the Japanese keyboard to look-up words in kana/kanji.
Use the Traditional Chinese character recognition keyboard included in the iPhone system for drawing kanji on screen.

Mejor aplicación de iOS
Este diccionario es simplemente genial, me ha ayudado infinitas veces a lo largo de mis estudios. Tiene un repertorio muy amplio de entradas y algunas de ellas están vinculadas entre sí de tal forma que es fácil descubrir vocabulario relacionado. También tiene listas de kanji para estudiar, posibilidad de crear listas de vocabulario y un analizador de textos que es muy útil. En español funciona bien pero mucho mejor si buscas en inglés. No puedo explicar suficientemente bien la riqueza del léxico que incorpora este diccionario. ¡Mi eterna gratitud al desarrollador!

Imprescindible si te interesa el 日本語
Un imprescindible por su analizador de frases. Yo aún no conozco todos los kanji, pero me escriben frases con ellos, y gracias al analizador puedo leerlos e incluso si no se el significado me lo dice debajo. El diccionario también me gusta por que a parte de inglés también está el significado en castellano. Y las frases de ejemplo también ayudan mucho. Solo queda poder buscar las palabras en castellano además de en inglés y japonés 😜 También puedes hacer listas con las búsquedas e incluso aprender los kanji con las listas predefinidas. Y el poder usarla off line es la guinda del imprescindible!!! Me he alegrado mucho de saber que se ha actualizado y que no la voy a perder con iOS 11!!. ありがとうございました。
Best Japanese dictionary app out there
By far, this app is the most efficiently designed dictionary app for Japanese students. I've been using it for years, and I can truly say "It's amazing!". And now, on top of all that, 64-bit support has finally arrived!!! (I was so worried iOS 11 might have forced me to part ways with my beloved Imiwa?) Keep up the amazing work! Although, I can't see how you could improve more upon this brilliant piece of code. :)
