Description

This application is a multilingual Japanese dictionary for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It offers dictionary/kanji and example sentences full offline use.
Imiwa? was created using the amazing JMdict files from the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group based on the work of Jim Breen on the EDICT project.

Use the Japanese keyboard to look-up words in kana/kanji.
Use the Traditional Chinese character recognition keyboard included in the iPhone system for drawing kanji on screen.

Bug? Where is Italian?

Prima era presente anche la lingua italiana ler alcune parole. Ora è scomparsa. Perché? Before there was also the Italian language for some words. Now it has disappeared. Why?

Ricerca pure i verbi coniugati nel caso non si ricordi la forma base. Ottime le frasi d’esempio in più lingue. Davvero utile!

La semplicità nel ricercare la radice nonché significati ed esempi per comprendere in quale situazione dovrebbe essere usata la parola cercata è eccezionale! La migliore fra tutte le altre app!

App necessaria nel caso si studi giapponese, è veramente utile! Perfetto sotto vari punti di vista, traduzioni, esempi ecc. L’unica cosa è che riconosce un apostrofo diverso (che non c’è nella tastiera) per parole come “shin’yuu”

La uso da non so quanti anni e mi è di grande aiuto nello studio. Il fatto che questa app è multilingue mi aiuta nella corretta interpretazione delle sfumature delle parole. Apple ha inviato un messaggio dicendo che questo dizionario non è compatibile con la prossima versione iOS. Mi raccomando, fate un upgrade perché non posso farne a meno!!!

La uso da tre anni ormai e non perde un colpo: fa praticamente ciò che può fare un dizionario elettronico, ma gratis. Inoltre con la tastiera cinese a inserimento manuale si possono anche scrivere kanji di cui non si conosce la lettura.

I started using imiwa? many years ago on iPod as buying and iPod using this free app was cheaper than buying and electronic dictionary. Surprisingly, imiwa is just better and great as it works offline, it's quick and very complete. I personally use more English-Japanese or French to refine meanings.
