The content in the app is really good, the summaries have a lot of content and are very well made. But the app used to be quite slow. Now, with the last update, on top of the great content, the app’s performance is really good, very fast searches. I simply love it and really recommend it!
I was willing to pay the price for the subscription since I learned a lot from it during the 7 day trial but I cant access it ever since I subscribed. It kept crashing.

I love Instaread and have been using a while but I don’t like the direction it’s going with all these new summaries of newspaper articles and now news items. I signed up for a book summary app and I don’t see as many books being summarised, instead you’re sending summaries of incidental press clippings - that’s not gonna help anyone! If it continues I will cancel and sign up for a real book summary app.
I downloaded the app in my phone and my iPad, but after use the app in my iPad I can’t used at my phone because the subscription is just working for one device. I would like to know how use the app because I’m really interested in start to reading and listening at the same time as soon as I can.
They helped me to get a refund. Not sure what all the complaints are about l.
Thought I would try the 7day trial. A few days went by and I never used the app. Without any warning or reminder a full year subscription has been deducted out of my account. I still do not know how to unsubscribe! I can’t via the app? I can’t via email? Frustrating! I would like a refund.
Signed up for free trial no option and not told that you will be debited a full years subscription straight after. When contacted “help” email obnoxious lady keeps reply saying “as I said in my last email you would have been told” even when I mentioned had not been!! Terrible service just refers me to generic Apple support passing off any responsibility and have not been able to get the $120 back for the years subscription that I didn’t want or select. BEWARE!!!!!
The payment options after 7day trial are confusing. BEWARE, If you are not careful you will end up with $130 bill. Definitely wasn’t in my budget.
