Jolly Phonics Lessons

Bought the app today, it was used for around 60 minutes, then a completely blank white screen came up. We’re completely stuck with an app we can’t use. There’s no phone number in Australia, and I’ve had no response to my email. Check online, white screen is a known issue.

Thought I had found a great app to reinforce classroom learning, but the sound stops working continuously and I have to restart the app all the time which frustrates both myself and my children.

Don't waste your money on this! it's only six letter for the price. If you want to watch more, it will charge your again!

I mistakenly thought this would be more interactive for the child. Instead it seems to be a teacher resource for phonics and basically seems like it gives you a brief lesson plan and a few resources per graphemes or phoneme. Fairly limited, teaching just from this would not be sufficient for a child who needs extra help or stimulation. I would find it boring to teach from. Also it's not free; there are a few very basic free phonemes to give you an idea and then you pay to see the rest.

This app states in the description that it has all audio for all letter sounds. Not entirely true... it does have all audio- if you want to pay for it, only 6 sounds are free. Better off googling the jolly phonics sounds on YouTube. This app is a joke.

This has become my essential daily Phonics resource with the smartboard for the little ones. The sounds, graphics, Flashcards, pictures, story, actions, songs even handwriting - all in the one place. Excellent.

NOT EVEN FUNNY ANYMORE I HAVE A NICE DREAM OF THE DAY BEFORE I HAVE TO GO BACK AND I DON'T THINK THAT I CAN GET IT RIGHT AWAY WITH THE NEW VERSION IS BETTER TO BE THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY BEFORE I GET A FOLLOW BACK ON MY WAY HOME.

I recently upgraded this app which was initially free. I wish I hadn't as I use it in combination with the work I do with Jolly Phonics at school. No myself and the children using the app are distracted with the 'upgrade to get sounds $...' upgrade for more words. It's annoying!!!! If I wanted to upgrade I would buy the next app. I find it to be greedy. The initial app was excellent for warm ups at school while I was getting the childrens work prepared as I'm an SSO. I don't want an app that's reminding me with everything I do that I can upgrade. HUGE thumbs down.
