I have been using many mobile banking applications and this K-Plus is the worst. It is practically unusable unless you travel back to Thailand to activate the app. Super unfriendly to existing customers who live abroad. If you are relocating overseas, I would recommend you to move your money to another bank.
Normally, people would say “The worst mobile banking app I ever used”. Guess what! This app is worse than that. I could not even use it, the furtherest I could go was just a successful download. Why? The application needs me to visit a branch physically to identify myself, but I am living in Singapore. How could I do that? I called the Call Center (long distance call, of course) and the agent told me to fix that problem by mailing my ID card to a relative and trouble that person to “identify me” on my behalf. This is unbelievable!!! This is a security breach if the bank really allows it!! Social engineering and impersonation!! Does this mean anyone who happen to have my physical ID card could impersonate me and gain access to K-Plus app under my name? What if I dropped the card accidentally and a culprit picked it up? You sacrifice usability for security, yet you have a flaw in the process! What is wrong with the user journey & customer experience design? This is no fault to that agent, I trust the agent just answered my question based on the knowledge-base she had in front of her. Well, now my Kasikorn Internet Banking is virtually useless. I could not even use it to pay my own KBank Credit Card bill. What happen to my OTP? That is a mystery. I called the Call Center twice to confirm that my OTP number is Thai number I am using in Singapore (roaming). Unfortunately, I never received any OTP from KBank, therefore I cannot pay my own KBank bill from my KBank Internet Banking!! Ironically, I received the OTPs from Bangkok Bank, Citibank, Amex just fine. Oh well! This is year 2023, yet I could not use K-Plus app not OTP overseas. The only solution I have right now is to use services from other banks, and pay KBank bills from Bangkok Bank account. Salute the customer experience designer!!!!

This apps is not user friendly especially for foreigner out of Thailand Keep rolling and unable to access to the apps

I’ve been living in Singapore and was able to login to the app before. However, upon the newest update, I am no longer able to log in. The app simply keeps loading endlessly. I understand that the app will need first time Thailand 4G/LTE network verification. However, this update will definitely cause issue especially to those living abroad and especially during this pandemic period where traveling between countries are still quite restricted. So sadly, I am no longer able to perform any online banking (doing online shopping for my parents / transferring fund) originating from my Kbank account at the moment. SMS-OTP won’t work also because again, I live abroad and can’t really get the Thailand SMS.
Unable to log in from Singapore. Last time I am able to do it from Singapore and now I am unable to do it, now all my account unable to use
รบกวนสอบถามค่ะ คือเราไม่สามารถเข้าระบบได้เลย ทางแแปบอกให้เปิด อินเตอร์เน็ตไม่ให้ใช้ไวไฟซึ่งเราไม่ได้เปิดไวไฟเพราะทราบอยู่แล้วว่าใช้ไม่ได้แต่ทำยังไงก็เข้าทำธุรกรรมอะไรไม่ได้เลย ไม่ทราบว่าเกิดจากอะไรค่ะ
I stay in Singapore and I could be able to login to the App before. How come suddenly now I cannot open the App. It keeps sending me message “For the first time set up, please disable your wifi connection and use cellular data to proceed”. I did follow the instructions but still cannot login. Please check and fix as soon as possible.
