KEF Control FAQ
Is KEF Control free?
Yes, KEF Control is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is KEF Control legit?
⚠️ The KEF Control app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Sovellus on umpisurkea.
Absolutely useless
Most recent update is even worse than before. Speakers (LS50 wireless) are now only usable in streaming mode. In usb and other modes the app reverts the EQ settings back to stock and the app can’t connect to the speakers rendering them pretty much useless.
Bottom line: great sounding speakers, but usability is absolute garbage thanks to this app. My first and last KEF product for sure.
Do something please
This must be one of worst apps ever made, “various bugs fixed” but I am unable to proceed even first opening window. Give me a brake! I loved LSX speakers itself but this absolutely bug-filled app makes me get rid of this speaker system, this simply ain’t working.
It doesn’t work
It doesn’t work even a new update.
Bad update
After the latest update neither this or KEF stream works

Not so hi–fi app
We’re closing the end of 2019, overall the app provides a decent experience, stability issues there and there but nothing groundbreaking. I mean they’re a speaker manufacturer right, but if you enter the tech market you’re willing to take the challenge. My wishlist and suggestions below.
• Keep improving stability and performance, optimize, index, crank it up.
• Bigger volume slider (try how it feels vertically?)
• Option to turn subwoofer signal off in the profile settings. (I use two profiles, one with sub and one without, it annoys me when sub turns on with non-sub profile) Send signal - do not send signal.
• Ability to teach new/alternative remote control to the speakers. (It would be sooo nice to adjust volume with Apple TV remote when connected via Toslink.) The in package remote is 💩, u already knew it.
• Darkmode 🤷🏻
• Profile synchronization between devices, this might be a hard one, but whenever switching between devices and there’s even one difference, let’s say sub-gain, in profile settings, app always wants to adopt the settings as a new profile. Somehow would be nice if profile name or something would be enough to tell the app that it’s the same profile depend less of that one setting.
And hey, the speakers are absolutely lovely 😊

Heart broken
I love these speakers but this app has left me no choice but to return them. So much lost functionality.
Wish it wasn’t this way but the lack of concern and sense of urgency from KEF to fix this is troubling.
