Lingopie: Learn a Language

Cuando me usar este aplicación estoy siempre creciendo con mis educación de idiomas.

I discovered this app through YouTube. My dad’s side of the family is from PR and I never bothered to learn the language. And when I tried to, they made fun of my accent. I sounded like a “gringa”. I’ve been using the Puerto Rican dialect with music, but it’s not really how they structure sentences. I want to have conversations with them and communicate in their native language. It’s also a good skill to have since many of my neighbors are Puerto Rican too. ❤️

Theres not much or anything interesting to choose from. And as a request, please add the horror genre, that is the only thing that I watch.

I contacted the Lingopie support team for a translation that is inaccurate and offensive. In response I only received a generic response for customer support. In the show “Club of Crows” the word “negro” is translated as an offensive racial epithet. This is absolutely incorrect. Other than this, I do see some use in the tool for helping with memorizing words, growing vocabulary, and training your ear for the spoken language.

Good concept but was so buggy I couldn’t even sign up. Put in a ticket and never heard anything back

This company was happy to take the $12 out of my bank account and never give me any service. I contacted customer service, which is only available by email., and somebody did reply and promised to fix the problem, but then never did so, so they went ahead and kept my money and didn’t give me a refund without ever giving me service. From what I can tell, the content that they offer is no better than the average stuff that anybody could find on YouTube. Nothing special. I would skip right over this application if I were anyone wanting to learn languages because they’ll take your money, not give you service or give substandard service, and provide substandard content. Also, I couldn’t help but notice all of the replies from the developer urging to email Lingopie. Let me tell you something, they don’t answer. They’re just looking for a way to make a free buck off of content that’s already available, and sometimes even worse make a free buck after doing nothing at all. Buyer beware.

I was very excited when I discovered this app. However, I was disappointed very soon. It’s very odd. I joined and everything seemed very cool. $200 for a lifetime subscription sounded like a great deal. Long story short, there was a billing glitch and every time I went to retry my card or update my info. Of course it would not let me. It just freezes so I ended up having to make another account. The same thing happened. eventually my third or fourth account worked. I’ll start off by saying the Netflix portion is very limited and you do need a Netflix account. A lot of the time the grammar index will not show up, glitches, translates improperly and advertises that they have more episodes of series that they do not. The biggest thing of all is that each time I tried to get help with my accounts support will send you an automatic message, saying they are working to help but you never hear from them again, there is no tech support system. Be careful for what membership you do because when I logged in on Google they wanted to charge me $200 for an annual membership. When I login on the app it’s 200 for life. That is very odd and overall, I am disappointed that’s funny.
