I would say it could be useful for researchers in Social Sciences. However for STEM, the reading doesn’t really satisfy the need, it makes listening challenging when it comes to the name of chemicals. If the app was more affordable I could have used it for reading review articles but the subscription fees are astronomical for a graduate student. Also it takes approximately 10 minutes to upload a pdf. When you consider that you need to read over 100+ papers, it really takes an unnecessary amount of time. I can just copy and paste the text to AI readers and get the same benefits for free and quicker. The app needs to provide a better experience than this to justify the price.

Life saver for grad student

It’s a scam application. It forces to buy free trial and the close button does not work. Also It is not related to the social media ads

When i tap on to paste the url it automatically opens the key board thus not popping up the click& hold menu. So i can’t get to paste and/or upload any documents.

I love the voices on this app they sound more natural then the reading websites my instructors give but it bugs and lags a lot. I like to listen to with it sped up and it lags even more. Sometimes it takes forever to scroll and it takes like 10 seconds just to read the next word sometimes.

I haven't been able to use the app/subscription in any meaningful way. The 'app' itself shows up as a blank screen and I have to go to the website to use. Even then it is not work the $99 annual fee that I paid. I have sent a support request through the website and no response. Seriously considering taking the loss and just switching to Speechify

This app wouldn't even let preview it. It seems like it might be a good deal but when I actually paid for it, it was super slow converting text to speech compared to every other speech converter previewed. Also it doesn't give you the ability to paste text into ai note so that's really important because that's what I actually use it for.

I like to listen to nonfiction articles and sometimes academic papers with a strong humanities and social sciences bent. So far it is serving it’s purpose well with a fair yearly price point. The price point compared to competitors was one of the deciding factors for me. Some features I would recommend to enhance user experience: on conversions of online articles keep the source url accessible after conversion. Also, enhance search capabilities. Can the content in addition to titles be searchable? For notes as well? thank you

I love the program but I definitely feel like there should be a few more features, such as the ability to create folders for files and highlight certain texts to go with our notes.
