LK is a flexible remote control application for use with music software and hardware, providing a wide range of features and functionality to enhance the production and live performance of electronic music.

LK offers tight integration with Ableton Live using our free UBRIDGE desktop application, providing access and control of Ableton Live projects, with both wired and wireless connection options. LK has extensive MIDI capabilities too, allowing for communication and control of any MIDI compliant software or hardware, even apps running on the same device thanks to virtual MIDI support and AUv3 integration too.

LK is split into six unique modules, each available as a separate in-app purchase, offering great value that you can tailor to your specific needs.

MATRIX
- Control almost every aspect on Ableton Live, clips, tracks, devices and much more with MATRIX. You can also sequence MIDI hardware and software with the MATRIX module in MIDI mode. This powerful module has a built-in clip launcher and composer. It allows you to create multiple tracks and scenes and play clips in sync with time.

PADS
- Get the MPC feel on your touchscreen with PADS, featuring an arpeggiator and a chorder. When working in Ableton Live mode it automatically maps drum rack pad names to each pad on the app - never miss a pad again. Use it in MIDI mode to quickly play other synth apps.

CONTROLLER
- Extensive control of 128 parameters with CONTROLLER. Use knobs, faders, buttons and pads to control MIDI hardware, desktop and mobile DAWs - now with the power of AUv3 integration too.

X/Y PAD
- Three dimensional parameter tweaking with X/Y PAD. This module can work with CC or NOTE events. In CC mode, a CC can be assigned per axis. In NOTE mode, X is pitch, Y is velocity and Z is Note ON/ Note OFF.

CHORDER
- Play chords like you have never played before with the CHORDER module. Use this chord generator to build chords and lay them out according to your needs.

KEYBOARD
- Keyboard features a 3-axis expression capabilities. It is fully customisable to scale and keyboard range. It also allows the possibility of mapping any Live or MIDI CC parameters to be controlled by the position you play in each of the keys of the keyboard thus providing additional expression to the performance of each note.

LK is also capable of connecting with USB MIDI interfaces which allows you to interact with external gear.

To connect LK to your host computer you will need to download and install a free software utility called UBRIDGE on your computer. It is available for Windows and OSX and it can be downloaded from Imaginando website.

Weird

I had bought all the in app things but could buy them again. Because I didn‘t understand how to save the presets I thought I had to buy it again. There is no good documentation on this and it seems there is no way to save the mappings. Useless. Cheers

Perfekt genau was ich brauche

Die App lässt sich problemlos mit Ubridge (siehe Homepage) verbinden. Ich benutze bis jetzt die Matrix um live on Stage Ableton zu sehen und zu steuern. Ich Wechsel die Sounds mit Szenen. Jetzt bin ich nicht mehr blind wenn das MacBook weiter weg steht.

Weiß nicht woran es liegt, aber…

Also bei mir stürzt die App als AU in AUM dauernd ab. So absolut nicht benutzbar. Bis heute habe ich nicht herausgefunden warum. Was mich übrigens zusätzlich ziemlich nervt sind fehlende Beispiel/Mapping Templates für AUM.

Not working with Mac mini M2 need an update!

Unfortunately, isn’t working with my Mac mini with m2 CPU. The Ableton LK script won’t load the set! I think the LK server and the Python script inside the MIDI script need an update for Ableton Live with Mac with M2 CPU. It’s working fine with my M1 MacBook Pro 2020.

Total scam app

I bought this app full price a while ago. Now they want me to pay again for every single part of the app individually. Besides this the app doesn’t work really well. The tutorial is 7 years old and does not fit the updated requirements. Can’t recommend this at all

Cool, aber….

Cool, aber warum bis jetzt immer noch keine Templates für AUM? Allein zum Verständnis für Neulinge nicht nur eigentlich unverzichtbar.

Noch immer Abstürze

Update: Für den Live-Einsatz noch immer nicht stabil genug, leider. Design und Funktionalität top! LK friert während der Aufnahme ein, startet nicht und so weiter. Habe jetzt in Helium mit dem neusten Update eine gute Lösung gefunden (Loops/Snapshot-Funktion, mit der sich 12 "Szenen" pro Song triggern lassen).

I only use LK in iOS in conjunction with AUM. Lk offers you the opportunity to pack the endless ideas that just fly to you in AUM into a song. And Imaginando does that really well, everything can be operated very smoothly! But the AUM/LK combo isn't exactly for dummies. Unfortunately, there is also no manual for dummies. You first have to develop a completely new workflow and organize a few things, for example to simplify automation. And organize some presets, otherwise you keep entering the same parameters over and over again.

Bester Ableton-alike clip launcher & MIDI sequencer!

Import und Export von kompletten MIDI-Files auf clips, MIDI clock sync, gute Automation, schöne Extra-Funktionen per IAP's und, auch wie in Ableton, clip follow actions. Es gibt regelmäßig updates und die Entwickler reagieren schnell und freundlich auf Fehlerberichte und Verbesserungswünsche.
