Not exactly. loóna isn’t a list of direct go-to-sleep techniques, but rather a mood-altering app that helps you to stay calm during the day and prepares you emotionally for going to sleep in the evening.
- WHY IS BEDTIME MOOD IMPORTANT?
Negative emotions we accumulate during the day are processed and consolidated by our brain during sleep making them more difficult to disassociate from when faced again in the future. Moreover, feeling angry, anxious, down, or, the opposite, excited, and elated, is likely to affect latencies to sleep onset and REM-sleep. People mistake it for the symptoms of a sleep disorder, but in reality, they just may be in the wrong mood for sleep.
- HOW DOES LOÓNA WORK?
From the wake up and during the busy day Loóna will support your emotional states with playlists and immersive stories. Each night you’ll have a recommended escape. An escape is a guided session that combines activity-based relaxation, storytelling, and sounds in a unique way. Complete it to shut the frantic world out, reset your mind, and create the perfect mood for sleep.
Loóna saves your escape sessions to your Apple Health app.
The upgrade to loóna PLUS provides access to the entire collection of escapes. Our subscription options are: 1-month subscription,3-month subscription and 1-year subscription with a 7 day trial, (price may vary by location).
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Suggestion

Hi! I have couple suggestions, (i LOVE the app, btw) Can we add plots somewhere for stories maybe? Also, would be nice to have little written stories for us to read. There is coloring, there are audios, but no reading material. Thank you!

They will over charge you and never try to fix it

The app itself is delightful, however if you purchase it-more than likely they will charge you more than once and never contact you back to help you fix the issue. I have been emailing this company for months with zero response. The niceness of the music isn’t worth the 3 subscriptions that I have been charged, so $180. Would not recommend-

So relaxing!

The colors are calming and the music and narrator voices are very soothing. I love how the objects gently light up when you touch them, even with their own gentle sound effects. It’s such a wholesome app that helps me to relax my mind. I’m very grateful for the app developers!

Recommendation

I’m in the hospital from surgery. If was on your marketing team. I would have this available for people after they have surgery and need to relax somewhat so after my surgery finally open the app and played and looked. into it and played it to feel much better Sorry, I’m riding with my left hand and trying to spellcheck anyway, you’re relaxing I will look into it more

Better than “calm”

This app is the most relaxing thing I’ve ever downloaded. I completed the Legendary dragon scene in 14 minutes and I’m tired and feel rested. (p.s, I think it was because of the music) I love this app very much 🫶🏽

A no go

Very unhappy with this app. They remove a lot of content that you mark as your favorite.

Need new Escapes!

I have been a subscriber for two years now and there need to be more new escapes added. One or two new ones every 4-6 months is not enough. I have replayed all of these escapes.
