MagicJack Service

Poor … I can only make calls out. It’s been this way for over a year with no help on their part. What a waste of my money. It only started when I went to the 5 year plan. It’s as if they truly don’t care if I’m satisfied or not.

Freezes phone

I updated the app and once I answer a call on the app, it freezes my iphone. I can’t hang up or use the other phone functions and forced to force restart my phone. In addition, not all calls comr through.

Issues

What’s wrong after you paid $19 for credit and could not use it yet. Service not accepting calls or text messages within Canada USA. Unless it’s money taking app.

Amazing service

I been using Magic jack over 5 years and Love the Majic jack phone service it the best portable phone service that I’ve had this far the reception has been amazing and when I didn’t have any way of getting my business done while traveling magic jack has never failed me

Nostalgia!

Im only writing this for the fact back in the late 2000s-early 10s, this app was called MagicJack, and yes while it was a afforable VOIP service, the iOS app back then allowed people to call anyone in the US free. It also allowed you to sign up with a account and get a assigned MagicJack number for free also. I want to say even before Textnow and Textplus, this was my go-to app for calling people via WiFi as a kid and will always hold a dear place in my heart. I had it on one of my old iPod Touches and made it feel like I had a iPhone back then.

Nothing fancy but it works

No video calling, can’t really text video or pictures. No video conferencing. Just basic calling and texting. But it’s a simple solution for an inexpensive price that actually works. Calls are very high quality. I don’t think I’ve ever had a time when magic jack didn’t work. I have two iPhones so I keep this as the number tied to many other iPhone. If you’re looking for nothing fancy but want a VOIP app with your own dedicated phone number at a cheap price that actually works then magic jack is about the best there is. Been a customer for several years and I plan on using this service for a long time.

Scam

I created my account and ask for a monthly subscription. I paid it and then says “Oops something went wrong” i thought it was a glitch. So i check my account balance a $5.30 was deducted. So I thought okay maybe my account has been created. As i log in, it says something went wrong. Error 2202 🤦🏽‍♀️. So i tried to create a new account but it says Email has already exist 🤦🏽‍♀️tf
