This app has been a good longterm tool, that has helped a lot when planning homes. The functionality has gotten better and better, it is definitely easy to use. The only weak point to me is privacy. It collects more data than it should and that is sadly the case for most apps these days. Conclusion would be, it is one of the best apps in the market with lousy privacy attitude, if you find one with similar functionality but better policy regarding data collection…

Great app even for non professionals. One project used to be free… that’s all a regular person needed. Not free anymore. Very disappointed. Was truly a great app.

Looks promising, but you’re required to create an account to even try it out, which is just too much of a hassle to waste my time on.

I had some plans created and now need to subscribe to access them? Seriously? I understand the need to make money but this is unreasonable and you didn’t warn me that this will happen.

what a difference between 3rd and 4th models? Why is requirements are 4th generation???!!

My Mom recently had a stroke. During this time, my brother and I agreed that based on her condition it was time for my Mom to move out of the house she had been in for 30 years and the last five years alone into an assisted living facility that would be better for her. As a divorcee of 40 years, she is incredibly independent. Magic Plan allowed me to go to her new place, map out all the dimensions with Lidar and a tape measure, and allowed her to work with her furniture and show her exactly how things would be. Instead of something that felt very pushed on her, she engaged and was active in the decision-making. If it weren't for Magic Plan, the Elevation Plan, 2d, and 3d views I'm not sure this would have been possible. I have insanely impressed with this software. While I'm not the target audience, I would encourage anyone who is themselves or has a family member moving to use it. It truly is a game changer.

The app used to be good, but recently it crash all the time. Today after I’d to open the app again I lost ALL my recent projects. You can’t trust this app!!

I am no longer able to edit plans that were previously made unless I pay for a subscription. How are you going to allow someone to create something then 6 months down the road charge a fee to edit it when it was free all along. Greed at its finest

I’ve scanned my entire house three times without success. The app continues to save the room names incorrectly and does not allow me to edit them. It would be faster to measure everything myself manually. I’m very frustrated that this isn’t easier to use.
