I really like this app, as the name said is magic and easy to work and understand.
The app says I have used up both my free projects but I haven’t created any projects at all yet
I wanted an app that allowed me to simply build spaces and floor plans MANUALLY based on measurements (instead of AR camera scans) and basic models as templates. This is it! You get 3 projects (with access to almost all features) FREE too. Fiddling with it for only a few minutes I was able to build a model for my room and closet space with 50% of my furniture. I just a few minutes! Just 2 quibbles, one about UX, and one on the app pricing options: 1) The 3D view is awesome, I just wish there was a 2D/3D toggle option, and we had a simple buttons for orientation and rotation (turn the room at eye level, etc.). 2) I would much prefer to pay a one-time price for each add-on, like for each additional project and feature, rather than have to suscribe. If you’re giving away 3 free projects and many features, why not provide a-la-carte options? You’d get more money that way. Guaranteed mine.
I am flabbergasted
I got it to have a floor plan of my house and it worked well. Some things are a little goofy like how some of the rooms snap together when I don’t want them too but otherwise it works great for the purpose that I used it for.
The inability to turn off square corner snap on this app makes it essentially useless. I don’t think an app has ever made me angrier to be honest. I spend hours and hours just trying to trace 4 rooms!
The room scanning is a great concept, but sometimes I’ll scan an entire basement in front of a customer and then it doesn’t process and I have to do it again.
It took me only 10 mins, to precisely map my 800 sqft apartment home. And the model is accurate. Including all the floors, walls, doors, windows, furnitures, shower, sink, etc. It’s going to take a professional probably 3~4 hours. And I, as no background in floor planning at all, can do that all in 10 mins.
