Awful app & no customer service
I feel kind of generous giving 2 stars but I feel bad giving one. I used to really like Meetup up but what a drop in service. The app is awful, it will shut down rsvps, omit things I write, duplicate … I can NOT email members or attendees. I have zero control and no customer service at all. I left Meetup once before and I will again. Eventbrite is so much easier and better
Check in
I find the check in facility unreliable. Sometimes checked people appear not checked in
Photos
When creating a event. I would like to see all previous photos from the group or from a previous Meetup specific to that evetn. It’s easier than downloading from Google. Thanks Niamh
Buggy
While this app is somewhat useful as a concept, it’s extremely buggy. Often I find I’m unable to type into text fields. When you’re filling in event descriptions the cursor suddenly and repeatedly jumps to the bottom of the text field. Often it’s just easier to use the web, even on a mobile browser.
