Gen 2 heaters

Fishy McFishy on

UPDATED! Found a work around for Gen 2 heaters. Switched off house WiFi. Created mobile hotspot on an iPhone with the same SSID and password as the house WiFi (turned on Maximise Compatibility). Connected a different phone to that hotspot and then set up the heater as usual - it connected mobile hotspot and to the app and did a firmware update. It was then showing fine and working. Turn off the mobile hotspot and turned back on the house WiFi. All connected back up and now have both heaters working as they did before!! Had these for ages. Disconnected back in July and after much struggling I got 1 to connect - the other one will not do anything. Tried support and they just give the stock stuff to try like resetting. Very frustrated - please sort this out as they were great for years and very stable.

poor customer service

Caninecapers on

contacted customer service in the uk. replied to 2 of my emails, then nothing. heater now only work by using the buttons on the heater and not by wifi. very disappointed

Update is a failure

Power_of_Words on

The 4.7.5 update has ‘broken’ my 2nd generation oil-filled heater. It worked seamless for a year, until the update. Now it loses the WiFi connection every two or three days. My 3rd generation heater remains connected.

App locks on loading doesn’t work

Atlam on

The app is a pile of crap. Loads of ui issues and lately the last few weeks unable to access the device screen to adjust or turn on or off the unit. Mill sort this out.

Glitching, won’t always connect

OscarTheProTM on

Very buggy. Won’t connect to one of my radiators. States are always unavailable. Used to be great. Then they updated and broke it.

Latest update

Physiomac on

Gen 2 heaters now not reconnecting since app updated Worked great until then now can't get them to connect at all Is it a plot to make us update to gen 3

Heaters good, app appalling

NatHoy on

The new migrated app is even worse than the older version - heaters have a mind of their own and come on and go off as they please - very very difficult to trust. Please sort!

Frustrating

god of the undead on

I’ve had the gen 2 heaters working for ages until a couple of months ago. Constantly disconnects the WiFi connection. Impossible to reset and add device again to the app. Heaters are great but the connected service is utterly useless.

Useless App

Jimbo3420 on

Since moving to their new server, this app does not work. Cannot control heaters via app, only standard programme recognised which cannot be modified. Now need to replace all heaters as Millheat app developers have managed to destroy a previously good system. Tickets to helpdesk are either unanswered or say problem’s being worked on - for 6 months!!!

Awful

Bodyinmotionrehab on

After the latest upgrade I have been unable to connect one of my panel heaters to the App. I have spent hours trying to resolve. Millheat website completely useless. I have deleted the app and am now using the heaters manually
