Was a great app when I first started using it, but everyday I click on to the app it says I need to verify my account by requesting a code. I request a code and it says sorry this isn’t available, been happening for a few weeks so I’ve given up on it
Load of rubbish
Terrible app, badly designed and just doesn’t work. Total rip off
A loyalty app the turns loyal customers into haters
Whoever came up with this idea clearly just copied other apps without the intelligence to understand what it takes to make a loyalty app work. Terrible IT, no fixes, sounds like they’ve stopped investing in it, broken but no fixes, points lost god knows where and loyal customers royally p*ssed off. This will be a case study in how not to do loyalty apps.
Basically copying other apps but with no real understanding of what made them good, no innovative ideas, just something pretty that doesn’t work.
I wonder if the muppets behind this are still employed.
I’ve given up trying to use it. Take this as a warning not to bother trying or you’ll lose points, fail to connect a bank card, get caught in an endless cycle of trying to log into the damn thing, and talk to badly managed support staff with no ability to actually support
App broken
It won’t let you link your bank card OR scan any bar codes at associated bars - the option to scan just opens a blank page. It’s been broken for months now - no resolution despite multiple bad reviews.
Great app and even better rewards
The app is easy to get set up with and if you’re going out without it, you’re missing out. Two of my favourite features are firstly the map where I can find venues to visit all around the country, and the other is definitely the rewards - love seeing my points rack up after a visit to the pub! Highly recommend.
Poor poor poor
Constantly logs you out. You log back in with your chosen password. Doesn’t recognise. You reset. Log in, says you have reached the maximum number of log in attempts and to reset your password (which you have just done). Reset. Log in attempt 3, “I have reached my maximum number of attempts”… you get the gist. never ending Groundhog circle of boring events. Waste of time. Avoid.
App is a con
The team have moved the goalposts claiming now that points earned via linked cards do not work with cards saved in your Apple Wallet. This is despite the fact that every point I’ve earned up until the 13th August was only earned through my card in the Apple Wallet.
I noticed that my points balance had not increased since this date even though numerous transactions had been made. As it stands I’ve lost £348 worth of points which should have been credited to my account.
I’ve also noticed that even if you scan the QR code in the app you won’t always receive points.
Give it a miss, it’s a waste of time.
Used to be good
Clunky app, but it worked.
Recent update has left me locked out of my app, account doesn’t exist apparently and can’t get verification to work despite using it for months. Very poor
Terrible
Won’t even let me log in because whenever I try to reset my password I don’t get any email to reset the password
Shocking app with even worse customer service.
I was recently locked out of my account for no reason, then despite following the instructions no ‘six digit code’ gets sent to my email.
I raised this with the customer service team as wanted to acrue the points that two visits to Stonegate venues had earned me and their response was to advise that ‘there’s nothing they can do’ because I cannot show a receipt for the transactions made that missing points are due for. Totally irrelevant as all I want to do is get the app working again. I entertain a lot for business and some form of loyalty is a great idea but currently will actively look for non-Stonegate venues going forward.
The arrogance of the customer service person (James) was incredible and yet previous conversations with another colleague were polite and apologetic.
