I wanted this app but I never received a confirmation email so I am locked out. Poor way to start an app.

Why does MSNBC refuse to evolve to the point where one can get a decent stream without a cable subscription? Have their advertisers written off cord-cutters? I doubt it! I know old habits die hard, but geeze. I just can’t imagine how their senior management thinks clinging to outmoded distribution models is going to help them grow.

This app is terrible. It was fine now it’s terrible. You have to sign in every two minutes. You can’t mirror on your television. It’s just a mess. Where are these developers? Have they fixed it yet?

Still lot working about a quarter of the time I try to use it. Emails to support each time it won’t load result in nothing but a canned response. Please fix these problems. Last month or so MSNBC fails to load several times a week on AppleTV. Getting login credentials ok from cable provider proven by NBC and Today loading ok. Constant contact to support does nothing but elicit a canned response. Please fix this.

I get why you put these nut jobs on but they are never fact checked. I like hearing what the extreme right has to lie about but you really need to start questioning their lies.

I use this app a lot, however, it has a nasty habit of not returning to my entry point when I open an article to read. When I hit the back button I am taken way down the page and have to scroll back up to where I left off. This happens so frequently that I get annoyed and leave the app. This has been going on for some time. I thought it would have been fixed by now, but it has not. Maybe it doesn’t bother other users, but it does me.

This app is so hit and miss. Prime hours are impossible. Just a dark blue screen endlessly loading. Even more disappointing, it’s linked to our cable subscription—meaning, we can’t have just msnbc somehow/somewhere without paying for cable, and then it *never* works. I feel like I’m getting fleeced several times over.

Full episodes of shows (Rachel Maddow) are no longer available, just highlites. To watch MSNBC live the app just sends you to Safari, where you can’t listen in the background or a floating window. It’s almost as if NBC just wants you to sit in front of the TV all the time.

I usually go to bed before my favorite shows are over. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching those shows the next day on your app, as they appeared on the air the night before. No more! I can only watch the “highlights”. I can see those on YouTube. I want to see the original show! So very frustrating and disappointing!

I used this app to stream MSNBC live on my phone and iPad. Previously, it had the livestream as part of the app. NOW, they’ve removed that functionality and it just directs you to their website, and a glitchy in-browser streaming experience. Big disappointment and the app is basically pointless now. UPDATE 6/8/2024: Despite developers responding to negative reviews for the last TWO MONTHS stating that they are working to re-add the in-app live streaming functionality which was removed in the April update, there has been NO FIX. This app is now basically worthless.
