Do you have maps that you would like to use offline on your iPhone/iPad with GPS positioning? Discover Multiplans, a powerful map application in which you can import your maps (whatever their source) and view them offline with a great multitouch experience and pinpoint accurate GPS positioning. Multiplans has been designed to offer a great map viewing experience: simple uncluttered interface, map shown full screen (a single tap toggles on/off the display of overlay information), ultra-fast scrolling and zooming.
With Multiplans, you don't have to buy again maps that you already own, just to use them on your iPhone. No subscription either that will soon expire. To use a map on your iPhone/iPad, simply transfer the map image into Multiplans (with a .map or ref.txt calibration file if you have one). Maps can be also calibrated entirely within Multiplans by defining graphically calibration points on the map.
A few sample maps are provided with Multiplans: a world map, a map of Switzerland, etc. A few more maps can be downloaded free of charge from www.multiplans.net. Multiplans is compatible with almost all coordinate systems used in the world. To import your own maps into Multiplans and have accurate GPS positioning, the map needs to be calibrated (see www.multiplans.net). Maps from OpenStreetMap (for any region in the world), as well as maps from similar mapping web sites, can be imported into Multiplans very easily by using the free program mobile atlas creator.

Génial
Tres bonne app. J utilise depuis des années avec une carte personnelle importée. Très bonne précision.
Mise à jour 2.7
Espère un rapide correctif. Depuis la récente mise à jour 2.7, présence de plusieurs bugs ! Changement de couleur du mode de départ irréversible, icônes et outils de la bande menu non visibles, problème avec cartes personnelles...

Superbe application. Un tutorial en français très complet nous permet de réaliser nos propres cartes, (images scannées, téléchargées ou capturées puis assemblées avec des logiciels), de les annoter, de les complèter puisqu'elles peuvent être au format *jpg. Une fois référenciées, le passage du PC dans l'iPhone se fait sans problème. Son application dans le terrain se fait sans connexion au réseau. Son usage est donc gratuit puisque les cartes sont dans l'iPhone.
Trop parfait!!
App vraiment top. Il faut juste être patient au début et bien lire le tuto sur le site internet du produit. Mais après un ou deux essais, c'est le pied et la qualité des cartes géniales. Ne pas hésiter, il vous faut la charger ;-)
Works quite well with topographic maps
Smooth paning and zooming even with large maps. Simple and easy to use. Nice way of loading new maps. Would love auto switching between maps of different scales. Stable behavior.
Du sur mesure!
On n'est enfin plus limité aux applications GPS du marché. Avec cette application j’ai pu créer des cartes sur un secteur bien précis en fonction de mes besoins. Il suffit de récupérer au format jpg une image satellite ou une carte, de la découper en dalles pas trop grandes (pour la fluidité) et c’est parti. Cela demande un peu de travail mais dès la deuxième carte c'est rapidement fait. Comme les fichiers sont sur l’iPhone il n’y a plus besoin d’une connexion de donnée, juste la réception GPS. C'est top! Bravo Vincent !
