MWH: Fitness Reviews

Love this app

nastia24567 on

All kind of short workouts that helps me to stay active everyday. Looove the nutrition section as well!

Great content, issues with app

SMB862571 on

United States

I enjoy the content of this app, but the app bugs leave much to be desired. Namely, I have a lot of difficulty casting onto my tv from my phone when using this app. The video stops multiple times and has to be refreshed, then auto it starts from the beginning. I also get an error message sometimes that someone is watching a video on another device when that is not the case! Please fix these bugs! They’re getting in the way of the content!

Keep coming back! She’s the OG

boobooo b on

I have been off and on with MWH for years. Depending on what type of workout I am focusing on. She is consistent and articulate and her flows vary from calming to fiery. Literally something for everyone no matter your age! She does try to keep evolving and expanding and I appreciate the variety in the app from recipes, meditations, focused challenges and new instructors. She does work hard to create and grow with her members. She is one of the original app Pilates teachers and I love her style and energy.

Great classes, bad app

JTHapple8 on

United States

Love Melissa but this app has a lot of flaws. It crashes, freezes, doesn’t have accurate data in the profile, the filters say there are no classes at 5 minutes or less but if you filter for 10-minute long classes and scroll through there are 5 minute classes. Hopefully the team can figure it out because it’s frustrating.

Tech issues

The workouts are great but good luck trying to cast, it disconnects and says I’m watching on two devices. frustrating.

My favorite wellness app!

Kaylen Emily on

United States

I love this app so much! The classes are great, I do the meditations every day. And there are so many recipes and other great wellness tips. But I mainly love Melissa’s teaching style and Pilates classes! My favorite! Would love to get some flexibility classes on here ☺️☺️

MWT & the creators are 🔥

I looove these workouts, they are short and spicy when you only have a little bit of time for yourself in a packed day. They’ve also got me into meditation! I never thought that would be for me but they are so calming and help me recognize and reset my negative thought patterns. Can’t recommend enough! 😊

Impossible to Cancel Membership

Sincerelykayy on

United States

This is the only app I’ve ever signed up for that cannot be canceled via Apple Apps store/subscriptions. I realized it had been on auto pay after months of not using it. I then went down a rabbit hole to cancel it and couldn’t figure it out as I didn’t have my login for the website. I emailed support. They wouldn’t help me to cancel the subscription nor refund me any of the unused months. It’s unfortunate that someone who just seems so amazing is running a business like this.

Greed

tmoneyayoooo on

United States

Membership price increase is drastic and no longer affordable. Hard pill to swallow against the obvious lavish and materialistic lifestyle Melissa lives (view her Instagram). Her authenticity is fading, it’s becoming clear that the $ she receives outweighs keeping followers. Does anyone remember when she cared about representation and diversity for like a week, and added all these women of color to her app as instructors? I’ve never heard her mention them again. I just can’t help but see her as greedy and phony anymore, if an instructor is going to motivate me they need to be inspiring and real.

New mom

Yogamom1220 on

United States

As a new mom going through a divorce, I finally bit the bullet and subscribed. It’s 100% worth it. As a lover of exercise and yoga I was also pleased to find meditations and sound baths. I highly recommend this app for everyone, but especially working/ busy moms. Even 1 year postpartum I still love the postpartum pieces. When I commit to completing 1-2 of these “micro” workouts a day it not only helps my body, but also my mind. I love working out at home because it reduces the risk of getting sick from a packed yoga class and passing it to baby. It couldn’t be a better fit.
