Frustrating futile exercise

Despite a number of attempts, unable to register a new account. The registration process just freezes.

BMW app

Very good.

BMW i3 app is 90% great

Great app. Helpful and simple to use. The main thing missing is the ability to stop a charging session before the battery is fully charged. I really need this feature. Apart from this the app is great and I use the My BMW app almost daily.

Great App

Love the app. Very informative and well structured. Given my iX3 is an EV, would Iove to see at a glance how much I’ve spent on charging it.

More Feature needed

Would be great to have option of remotely opening and closing windows via app and also accessing drive recorder for live view. Hopefully one day!!

Important functions do not work

I have followed BMW’s instructions to the letter and My Trips does not work. Now I am away from home and want to check the status of my car at home. The ‘Check Status’ function was working up until a couple of days ago but has stopped working - will not update. Extremely frustrating and essentially a waste of time.

It’s come a long way

The app keeps on getting better and better. The recent activation of remote parking for applicable models (like IX) is a great addition. The remote functions like climate control etc. also work much better than the Audi counterpart. What could make it better? • better route planning for EVs • remote triggering of battery preconditioning • expanded remote functions like lowering windows, opening tailgate, lowering rear seat backrests.

Bugs galore

One of the worst apps out there. Every update to fix bugs seems to introduce new ones. Come on BMw, get it sorted!

Gradually improving

Lost lots of features moving from bmw connected, now they seem to be slowly being restored. Strangely remaining fuel shows in gallons despite range being in km, changing unit settings makes no difference to this.
