Looks like they force you to pay for cloud despite buying a camera with local storage. Insane.
The picture quality is good. The app is easy to use. However, there is no way to turn off the non-activity notifications. I get multiple notifications a day, when I open the app it says no activity. It’s just notifying me to sign up for paid video storage. I’m not using this device in a way that I require that. There is no way to turn off these unwanted notifications. I can’t want wait to get rid of this camera for this one reason…that’s how often I get notifications.
Why do my cameras keep freezing just started doing this nneds to work better. I did trouble shoot and problem still persist so update and fix pls

….worked until my iPhone 15 last year. Still works on wife iPhone 13 and iPad. Only works on local WiFi network for my iPhone 15.
Bought a 3 pack of water sensors (main, plus two clients). Worked great, showed up as online in Google Home and mydlink consistently. Bought a 4th and then things get weird. This new sensor appeares as online for the first hour then has appeared as offline thereafter in mydlink app and Google home. For days now. And now all or most sensors appear as offline in GH most of the time. Sent back the new fourth sensor, get new one and the same pattern occurs. I sent dlink email via their website, crickets. No response for three weeks now. But all 4 sensors work to detect water, as I've tested all of them and they do notify, even the "offline" 4th sensor.
I don’t use any of the features of the cameras we bought. All I ask of them is to stream video to a computer. They don’t have to record, run software on the image, nothing. Just send the video, that’s all. And yet, a couple times a month I have to open this app, dismiss the forced advertising, and restart the cameras because they just stop sending video.

I’ve been paying, and it lets me watch live but when I get notifications that it’s captured movement when I go back to watch it at a later time there’s nothing recorded! So what am I paying for? Just to watch live?
