Great product! Just recorded first accident & submitted video to insurance. Can be slow and tricky to connect to WiFi.

The app does not connect to the dashcam. WiFi keeps failing to connect. Also the app in general is not user friendly at all. Nextbase has known of the problem for more then 6 months and there is still no fix. Quality hardware and garbage software.

The camera, the app, and the customer service are all worthless. The camera comes with a battery installed; not sure why, it’s never held a charge from day one. The camera malfunctions constantly (doesn’t record, freezes, etc). The app connects to the camera extremely slowly - takes about 10 min to connect and another 10 minutes to save a single video. That being only IF it connects. If you have CarPlay or android auto you will need to unpair that to connect to the camera, also, or else you will get kicked out. Customer service responds with robotic questions you’ve already answered.

With so much technology, why is it that you can only connect one phone. The dash cam is expensive and should have a capability of connecting to multiple devices. Why do I have to unpair my iPhone? And then pair my wife’s iPhone. I don’t have the luxury of having multiple vehicles. We are sharing the same vehicle however we cannot use separate phones for the app. Is there a fix to my problem and perhaps my rating was bad however, if this is so When or how can I go about using my wife’s phone or my phone with the dash cam. I have the 322GW. Nexar or other competitors DO NOT give you this issue.

Almost not possible to connect it keeps searching it causes frustration at the time of need.

The camera itself is fine, it has a lens, that’s basically the only criteria for a decent dash cam. However, if you want anything to ever work at all, don’t bother. It crashes all the time, turns itself off randomly, and saves absolutely nothing. It’s pretty much just a decoration. You’ll spend two hours trying to get it to work and it won’t matter. So if you get in an accident and thought it was recording, it wasn’t. It never was.

Connecting your dashcam to the app is beyond unacceptable. It doesn’t work or barely does. It is unreliable. Connection always fails. Developer does not help and this has been broken forever. The ONLY reason I use Nextbase Dashcams is for the hardware. If you want a reliable and seamless hardware and software experience, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
