The myPhonak Junior app allows you and your child to be more involved in the hearing journey in a way that fits into the child’s and the family’s needs. Working together with your hearing care professional is essential to determine which features of the app will be most beneficial.
The Remote Control function has been specially designed for children aged 6 years and above (with supervision when needed). It gives your child the ability to adjust the settings on their hearing aids to suit their listening preferences in more challenging environments. The myPhonak Junior app has been precisely designed to empower children in an age-appropriate without sacrificing hearing performance.
Remote Support* is suitable for families and children of all ages. It gives you the opportunity to stay connected with your hearing care professional remotely. Whether your child is still young and you are the main contact person, or your child is old enough to take on the responsibility for their hearing appointments, Remote Support provides the opportunity to have ‘hearing check ins’ which can be aligned with your busy lifestyle. Remote Support appointments can be combined with clinic appointments to provide minor adjustments to the hearing aids, or simply as a special consultation touch point.

VERY very basic App!
Everything the App can do apart from change the Bluetooth bandwidth, can be done on the buttons of the HAs themselves. Altho Bluetooth bandwidth can be changed by the audiologist so maybe the App is useless?! Very very basic compared to the adult myPhonak App. Really there is no need for this App as it doesn’t allow you to do anything ‘extra’! No issues with the App not connecting tho and it doesn’t drop of have any other issues but I really don’t need to use the App tho because my HA buttons do it all.
Clunky!
Such an unstable app! Volume reverts to half when not invited to. Sometimes greys out, leaving hearing aids stuck on low volume even if I delete the app. Manual control then dead. Have re-dowloaded app from store three times so far. I sense a software weakness at Sonovo/Phonak: the clinical fitting interface looks vintage 1970. Face to face, my wonderful audiologist copes, painstakingly feeding in EQ data points from a chart of numbers! In my sound studio I use a quick and accurate graphic interface for compression, noise reduction if needed, and detailed EQ. My day job would become impossible if I had to use your antique stuff! Anyway... my M70s work pretty well and even help me hear music lows to below 40, for the first time. So for that, thank you.
