Aids stop working, is this an old App?

Do you have new version of this App?

It works, but...

You DO use this with your aid switched on and worn in your ear as normal! You have two slider controls, one up/down for volume and one up/down for memory settings You can change the volume/loudness up to its maximum preset if it’s not already set at that level, or a step down from that... but there is no indication of what that step/level you have changed down too actually is.... there is no choice or flexibility involved.... you slide up or you slide down and you get a few bleeps to tell you it’s worked.... and that’s it on the volume side! You can change three of your environmental/surround memory settings (from No.1, No.2... or No.3) and a voice tells you which number you have changed to... but the accompanying instructions don’t mention what these numbers actually refer too... which is crazy! The app is free, simple to use and worth having available to you... but would be much better if there was more flexibility involved in enabling overall volume control ...and the accompanying instructions are very poor.

What is the volume?

You need to be more specific about the tones so that users know if the adjustment has been actioned or not. Mine gives out two same tones and a third different one but what does it mean? Also, when adjusting volume, it would be great to have a confirmation, like volume 3/10 8/10 4/5.

My new Starkey!!

Have only just started to use the app, & so far, am enjoying using it. It will be great not having to call on my patient audiologist / consultant to ‘ fix’ the hearing level via his computer, when at times it seems to slip! I’m an old but active woman, love all the new technology, so this is quite an exciting venture. I’m reluctant to give it star quality at present, but would certainly register it at a later date.

Works well with my Starkey hearing aid and my iPhone and iPad.

It would be much better if the app would work with the hearing aid without having to physically remove the hearing aid from the ear. This world be much more discreet for the user.

Does not work

Got this to go with my new hearing aids and am now told it does not work with BIC aids. ??

Unequal adjustments

Roguesurgeon on

So I've used T2 remote for the past 3-4 years and it has been working well. After upgrading to Gemini AI along with ITC hearing aids without the Bluetooth, I feel the updated version is causing only one sided adjustments rather than both hearing aids. This applies to both volume and memory. The only work around I have right now is adjust one to the preferred settings and take it out without opening the battery door and place it somewhere, and then go in another room, open the other hearing aid, put it back in ear, then adjust it to my preferred settings. There needs to be a fix to this ASAP considering the amount of money spent on this.

Horrible Disappointment

This app and for that matter the Starkey hearing aids are worthless. I have not been able to adjust aids except sporadically. I was told an update was needed for the app to work and yet the update has not been developed. Horrible.

Does not work

JCCoanan on

I just bought these hearing aids and they worked really well for one day. Once I got home, I couldn’t adjust the right side hearing aid using the app. After changing the batteries, the right side began to work a little bit better but now the left side doesn’t work even with new batteries. Additionally, when I hold the phone up to one side it occasionally changes both sides. When it changes both sides, this causes them to be out of sync. Meaning one is louder than the other and I have to take the batteries out to reset them to the default volume. Complete waste of money.
