Garage door app
Poor connectivity, app slow to open and connect with the garage door, not uncommon for it to not connect. Have tried deleting and reloading the app but issue still exists. Works well when it works as it should.
So slow!!
Very slow to load. Doesn’t stay loaded. They crippled the home bridge third party work around for HomeKit integration and no native HomeKit integration.
Set different open heights
Would be nice if I could have the app be able to make the door open up just 150mm from the ground and not just all the way up
Blocked Home Assistant
Purchased a garage door kit specifically because there was an integration available to work with Home Assistant. However MyQ have decided to explicitly block Home Assistant users rather than supporting the community. Which is shame because I now have to rip out your useless gear.
A manufacturer who does not play well with others
Chamberlin keep changing their API in an effort to make it difficult for third parties to integrate their products into home automation. Be open and earn respect.
App not working on mobile network
App works fine on lan with wifi, but not when using gsm network
NO DARK MODE - why not?
Very slow to find and operate the door but useful from time to time Please upgrade to provide a dark mode option to make it easier on my old and tired eyes thanks
Limited third party integration and poor identity management
App is ok, however no HomeKit, Google Home or Alexa integration … also identity management is a mess. Reset password 5 times and eventually gave up and signed in with Google.
Auto open door
I would like to use a trigger to automatically open door but it can’t do this. Shame. Had to install a different controller.
