MyRide – Motorcycle Routes

Signed in before my ride, started it up and put my phone away. Opened my phone after the ride to see I’ve once again been logged out and my ride not tracked. Please fix this issue, I’m lucky to record 1 in 5 rides.

Nice data and performance. Just a bit complicated to follow someone else’s trip. Also, If you are on a ride already needs to stop it to have a look at others possibles routs. If it was possible connect this app with Waze or similar gps app, would be awesome. Keep improving it Yamaha.

I have used the app the last few years. Seriously flawed with losing rides and not saving. Will give up on it. Go with Calimoto as an alternative.

For a little while now, rides don’t save at the finish of the ride. The next time I open MyRide I get a notification that a ride didn’t save correctly, then another telling me it did save, but then the ride isn’t visible in the "rides" section of the app. That’s a bit confusing. A delete and reinstall didn’t help at all. It used to work just fine, ur not so much now.

Don’t be fooled by the Yamaha branding; this application is for all riders, no matter what brand of motorcycle or scooter you own. This application is for the rider first, with stacks of features and all for FREE! Connect with friends, and other riders, see what excellent rides are recommended from the community. I found this application trying to find a more accurate speedometer than the wildly inaccurate one built into my Vespa. The only reason for the four stars (currently) is it can be challenging to see the information between the small fonts used and in hard sunlight. I really need to see my actual speed, please :) However, I’m sure with an update using some clever UI changes or allowing user customisation of the displayed information and colours, and this application would be pretty much perfect. Review is 2 stars because I love the app BUT the latest iOS update 15.3.1 caused the app to stop working. Attempts to contact support failed as the link simply takes me to Global Yamaha launch site not a site which leads to app support. Additionally when I tried to write this review on my main phone I get a message “You must own this item to write a Customer Review” I have had to go to great lengths to log back in on another device to export my rides ( for backup ) just to delete and attempt reinstall without risk of loosing all my data. Would the developer PLEASE change the App Store link to a relevant site for FAQ and Support An update to this review, the delete and reinstall of the app was successful with no data loss as with my app login it stored the data in the cloud. I can’t register from Australia

Couldn’t get past the sign-up page because my Country (Australia) isn’t in the list ?? How can Australia not be there ? Please add my country so I can use the app. Very disappointed can’t believe you don’t have Australia in the country list ???.

Early days yet, but so far this does everything I want and more. Just Dissapointing that my Yamaha VStar1100 has to be logged as a Yamaha DragStar1100. But hey, I’m still happy with this product.

Used the app today on my ride but now can’t save it because I can’t register that I’m in Australia so now very disappointed.
