IOS17 broke the pool swim metrics. While pool swimming, distance not counting/lagged. No of laps not accurate. Only after end swim will the actual distance/ laps count is update. Need an update please.
Afternote - Thanks, it works!
Make best better .
The app basic features does not perform better than Apple default Swimming app. The addition features like stoke per lap is a nice . But a lot of confusing stuff that the app didn’t explain.
I also surprised the app doesn’t automatically check for fastest 50m lap and etc .
updates after a week : after the end of the trail period . The app doesn’t update heart rate on the activity app. It is shocking! I won’t recommend paying for this app. The free isn’t as polish as Apple default app. I really hoping this was “the” app I was looking for .
Useless app
Have to pay for workouts zzzzz... no free tracking in the app! A SCAM
Great app but doesn’t work so well in Apple Watch.
I like the workouts and all but my beef with the app on the Apple Watch is that once you start a workout it’s very difficult to stop it.
Multiple presses to stop and maybe on the 10th try it registers. Thereafter another 10 taps to save the workout.
Apples swim app works a lot better in this regard and I hope the dev can do something about this annoying issue.
Not for a novice swimmer
This is for experienced swimmers not beginners
Would not let me try coaching without signing up for the trail / auto convert to paired version. The native Apple Watch app worked better. I wanted an beginner swim exercise program. This app disappointed me. I’m sure it’s is worth it for a pro swimmer.
Amazing support
I tried another swim app before this one, and MySwimPro really knocks it out of the park (water park?) Not only is the functionality of the app incredible both in and out of a workout, but the custom workouts and coaching are awesome. Finally, I can say from experience the support team is amazing. I have a Series 2 Apple Watch, so I’m a support tech’s nightmare with my old equipment. When my watch app was crashing after a recent update, I reached out, and Nick from support got back to me quickly. He had me send my logs and asked some questions about my watch and app, and within a few days, the developers had written a software fix for old phone and watch users like me. It saved me having to upgrade my equipment for the foreseeable future. I really appreciate their care and support. Swim on!
Useless now
I’ve used this for years, it was a great app, but now EVERYTHING is behind a paywall. Tried to use it the other day, and I literally couldn’t even see my laps, it wouldn’t do anything except ask me to subscribe. Guys, I simply don’t NEED coaching. Your app is too expensive. I’ll be using apple’s native app or swim.com.
Essentially useless now without paying
App only shows time now while swimming without a subscription making it as the title says. Sad to see
