MySwimPro Reviews

terrible support

No response from support. Worst support I got from a paid app.

On par with real life personal training

This app has been a game changer that has really brought back the swim training level I experienced back when I was in competition. It’s been a long while since I’ve trained so efficient! The app gives a great variation of swim trainings. In only 3 months I managed to get my swimming seed times from 1:20 to 1:12. The UI is very intuitive. The training plans are easy to adapt on the go (just a simple swipe bar to alter it to your available training time). There’s a great variety depending on your training goals and it has a great way to track your progress by holding test-sets every 12 workouts or so. Combined with their YouTube channel that shows technique videos it is a very efficient training tool that adapts the programs as you progress. As a shift worker, this gives me the training levels of a personal trainer with the flexibility of independent workouts. The team is also very friendly and answers to all your questions. They have a great community! Definitely use their try-out to check wether you like it (I had a first month for 1€). But be aware: you’ll likely use it for some additional months ;-)

Appelwatch

Why is the app on my appelwatch in French while it’s in English on my phone, I don’t find a setting to change this?

Awful redesign

I have been using this app for years ! But the recent redesign is going in the wrong direction. I prefer the previous app design. The app has become totally unusable and unresponsive.

Best Swim app ever!!!

Not for a novice swimmer

This is for experienced swimmers not beginners Would not let me try coaching without signing up for the trail / auto convert to paired version. The native Apple Watch app worked better. I wanted an beginner swim exercise program. This app disappointed me. I’m sure it’s is worth it for a pro swimmer.

Amazing support

I tried another swim app before this one, and MySwimPro really knocks it out of the park (water park?) Not only is the functionality of the app incredible both in and out of a workout, but the custom workouts and coaching are awesome. Finally, I can say from experience the support team is amazing. I have a Series 2 Apple Watch, so I’m a support tech’s nightmare with my old equipment. When my watch app was crashing after a recent update, I reached out, and Nick from support got back to me quickly. He had me send my logs and asked some questions about my watch and app, and within a few days, the developers had written a software fix for old phone and watch users like me. It saved me having to upgrade my equipment for the foreseeable future. I really appreciate their care and support. Swim on!

Useless now

Boymom4367 on

I’ve used this for years, it was a great app, but now EVERYTHING is behind a paywall. Tried to use it the other day, and I literally couldn’t even see my laps, it wouldn’t do anything except ask me to subscribe. Guys, I simply don’t NEED coaching. Your app is too expensive. I’ll be using apple’s native app or swim.com.

Essentially useless now without paying

Paden_duke129 on

App only shows time now while swimming without a subscription making it as the title says. Sad to see
