Can’t save custom sets.
Have been using the app for about six months and all I can say it’s a worthwhile investment in my fitness. I’ve tried a few different apps but I love the variety of programs and drills in this one. Thanks to the app I’ve noticed a big difference in my fitness and shaved around 15 seconds off my 100 time.
Hello, I have been loving this app. 🙏😃
This seems to be a great app with many helpful videos, tips, workouts and stats. However the main feature I wanted to use won’t work for me. The guided workouts are designed to work in a pool, not open ocean. The open water function is merely a tracker and other apps do this well for free
Pricing is ridiculous. I just hired a real in person coach and am much better off.
Real shame there isn’t a free version
It records distance and time No worries on my watch and phone app. However the widget that I run off the app on my Home Screen, doesn’t show correct distance when I’ve finished swimming and saved the session. May just need a fix in the next update.
Hi team, 2 sessions in and wondering if there is a desktop app for Mac please?
I am currently trialling a Garmin after using Apple Watches for the last 4-5 years. The MySwimPro app works really well on an Apple Watch but is absolutely awful on the Garmin watch. On Apple, I have a break down of my workout and some basic time stats on my watch. On the Garmin, I have only the total distance swum. I don’t find this very useful as my training often breaks down as something like: 2x50m 4x100 1x600 8x50 1x200 When swimming the 1x600m in the pool, it’s easy to forget how far I’ve travelled and I’d prefer to see 200/600m on my screen than to see the total travelled and have to do maths in the pool (after all, I’ve paid for an app to avoid this). This was also made harder because the watch seemed to think I’d swum further than I had, which meant I had completely useless distances listed. At the end of my 2.2km swim yesterday, the watch told me I’d swum 2.4km (which I hadn’t - if anything it might have been less) and then super weirdly it uploaded to Garmin that I’d done the 2.4km (same as watch) and to the MySwimPro app as 1.1km (with half all of the listed swims in the app recorded there). I am really disappointed with this as I had been planning on switching to Garmin for better fitness analytics than the Apple Watch but swimming is my main sporting hobby, and given how bad this is with Garmin, I wouldn’t want to do so. It’s also pretty poor given the app is advertised to work seamlessly with Garmin even though it doesn’t. And for an app that costs $300/year I’d expect more, particularly as the main benefit of the app is paying for the analytics and program (the instructional videos are not that helpful). Really disappointed with this. If there were another swimming app that actually worked I’d switch, but there are so few! In addition to that, I’ve found some problems other users allude to, with the workout loading from phone to watch (either Apple or Garmin) in the change rooms, then by the time I hop in the pool it has somehow disappeared, meaning I have to get out, re load, and get back in. I also find some of the rest periods oddly calculated - I find many sets have 1+mins of spare time in them which is often too long for rest for the set I’ve just done. Meanwhile others might be too short, with too short of an actual rest period. While my swim speed has gone up heaps over the year I’ve been swimming regularly, the app hasn’t altered most of my set allocation times, which I would have thought it would. My overall opinion is that this
