Suddenly no access
As foreigner I have an account and it worked fitst. Now suddenly and without warning, I can’t do any app transactions. Apparently I have to confirm my home address via a government website where I don’t have a login yet… so I can’t do any transactions with my app at the moment

Incompetent banking system and people
Before you judge, know I have gone through several onboarding processes of banks Revolut and Wise being the fastest. This one being the worst. If you are able to avoid this bank, their systems and the apps please do so for your own sanity. A business account takes 4 weeks to arrange (to just be in time to not get a fine from the IRS), constantly changing the terms and conditions to apply and being unwilling or unfriendly to foreigners. Locally they will try to help you, but often also get suffocated by their own rules. Financial data and history is needed, even if you only need a regular debit card. Activate a pin? Call a number to get more frustrated with the system. Customer care is incompetent, doesn’t speak proper English / the systems are bloated with rules like “needing a Greek phone number registered to your personal name” and funny enough eventually receiving it on a Dutch number through Viber (who is writing this scripts for profit.. Cosmote?) if you can just open Wise or Revolut, although you will also need translated documents / tax info + translated by an official Greek translator. All and all a dysfunctional country (people are great though) with a difunctional banking system. Triple warning: Avoid at all cost!
For foreigners not friendly
I only have a Dutch cell phone and can’t use it. I need to get a Greek number to see my bankdetas. Horrible !

Είστε σοβαροί; Μας λέτε τράπεζα μόνο με ραντεβού μετά από ένα μήνα και μας παραπέμπετε σε ε ένα απ σάπιο που δεν αναγνωρίζει κανένα έγγραφο και δεν διαβάζει ελληνική γραμματική; Τι είναι αυτά; Φτιάξτε τίποτα σοβαρό να κάνουμε καμία δουλειά. Απολυστε τον υπεύθυνο για το απ γιατί τσάμπα τρώει.
