Neuron E FAQ

Yes, Neuron E is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Neuron E legit?
🤔 The Neuron E app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I bought a single pass but received multiple charges because of a disguised auto renewal function. After discovering this I read the FAQ and found the information about cancelling the auto renewal was incorrect - there was no option for cancelling. Issue resolved only after contacting help. Besides the trouble I suspect this is actually criminal. If it was an attempt to generate extra revenue it backfired - will not use again. Scam operation.
Painful
Used the App 2 weeks ago for a 14.99 ride.
Unsubscribed and deleted the app after seeing 3 more charges I hadn’t used, I actually wasn’t even in the same city.
I have now been charged again since even though I deleted my card number off the app too
Scooters are great, the app requires a little bit of work
The app instructions do not zoom in, it was difficult to read small text. Otherwise good.
Good customer service
Had an issue re auto renew and they sorted the problem without an issue
Area
Needs more area coverage for sure

Fun as!
Beware 1 day pass only lasts for 45 min
Not a bad app but their one day pass only lasts for 45 minutes then they charged me more. I can’t think of any other form of transport where a one day pass wasn’t unlimited travel for one day. Why even call it a one day pass? It’s a 45 min pass. A one day pass lasts for a day. That’s why we have different names for minutes, hrs and days. Its hard to see how this wasn’t intentionally designed to be misleading.

Sneaky billing - stole my money
Purchased a three day pass that continued billing me every three days for the following month. $250 later and they would only repay about 20% of this, claiming that I had opted in for auto renewal and even sending me a screen capture that incorrectly advertises this checkbox empty and requiring to be checked by the purchaser. I sent back screen captures indicating that this was not an opt in service but actually prefilled, which I felt to be designed to catch people out and unfair. Their support then repeated the generic responses from their and we weren’t further helpful, watch out!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I hired 3 scooters, through the group ride function. Half way to our destination one of them ran out of battery so we had to push all 3 to a designated parking area… the nearest of which was like 1km away. I ended up being charged $45 for what was meant to be an 800m journey. Called the customer service number THREE times and reported the malfunction through the app, and was still charged for all three rides. Watch out for the hidden fees!!!!!! Such a scam… use beam or just Uber instead. Would never recommend at all.
