Not displaying local time
The old version showed local time. The latest version gives the time iUS Easter time. Totally useless when you live in New Zealand 🙄

Fix your bugs
So many issues after reformatting at the start of 2023/24 season. I’ve had to stop using it. When I view scores it would just jump to the next day. I’d click on today and it would be tomorrow. Click on tomorrow and it’d be two days away.
Southern hemisphere issue
New update means the app keeps trying to change the date to a day ahead making it impossible see current scores. This seems a pretty basic coding problem - my 15 year old kid is happy to help if the geniuses working on this app are struggling….
Still issues
Looks like the update hasn’t worked. Still glitching.
Issues
The new app looks great but when I tap on the day itself or the next day it then goes to the very next day and refuses to go back to the day I wanted. Makes it almost impossible to get scores
Poor UX…still, and as expected
Leave it to the NHL to completely redesign its app and somehow have it be worse than the original. 1. Box scores don’t actually show the box score information (ie. stats from all dressed players in tabular form) 2. Littered with distracting ads 3. Still inadequate time zone support here (in NZ), with wrong information showing for days/slate of games 4. The need to sit through a 13s ad to watch a 28s highlight 5. Still unclear whether there is even a live streaming option for us here in this part of the world, since the ESPN+ deal ravaged our NHL TV access It looks like the stats UI has been nicely redesigned for a good in-app experience, but for the most basic use of tracking games day to day, it’s still a frustrating experience to use. I tend still to rely on The Score instead, for now.
Love the App but….
I live in New Zealand and this year the NHL has made it more difficult for overseas fans to watch Hockey, used to be real easy, I could watch on Apple TV, not anymore. Puzzling considering the NHL as an organisation is supposed to be promoting the sport.
Wow. Just terrible
Between the usability and functionality or lack thereof it was enough for me to start watching other sports.
so disappointing
I’ve used this app to watch NHL games but starting this year, it says I need ESPN - which then tells me I can’t watch the games in my area so no hockey for me anymore. Happy to take my subscription money but very slow in issuing a refund since they can’t provide me the service.
Outside of America your screwed
Have had the app and also paid subscription for years -10 years. What’s with the change the app makes when selecting watch game, which makes you download ESPN app. Only to tell you games can’t be watched in your region. Biggest puck up in years. Close minded to think or not care about viewers outside America/USA. Expecting a fix ASAP
