Latest update said it was updating times outside NA…but now it’s worse! Previously it would tell me my local time (UK) of the faceoff so I knew when the game was…now it tells me the ET faceoff times which is completely useless to me and I have to convert it. Annoying for quick reference.
Very good until new update regarding time zones outside North America. App now shows what time the game will start in ET but before showed when in would start in your countries time zone. As someone currently living in England it’s annoying to have to convert the time when I want to see when a game starts. The original time zone system was much better.
There's not all of the teams pls add Slovakia and Canada
Now I can’t even access the calendar page/scores now. Always loads a error page. The whole point of this app for me has been taking away. I can’t see how my team is doing or what is happening around the league each day! Having to go elsewhere for video and score updates now. Updated: App works better since my last review after fixes so updating rating as a result
I really do like the app , well I used to anyway but , since the app has been re-designed I still have a problem with it , especially the goals horns ! Everytime a team scored their specific goal would play out on the app as a notification , but since the app has been updated , they haven’t brought back the goal horns on it ! PLEASE BRING BACK THE GOAL HORNS NHL !!!
Whoever is responsible for designing this App should resign immediately. The application quality from last season has disappeared and the latest version is horrible and usable.
Recent update is dreadful. So many bugs and glitches, almost unusable. Fix the schedule and results section please!!!
awful since the update - nothing has ever loaded for me. i can’t see the schedules/scores of any team. honestly shocking.
Maybe the old app wouldn’t scale. Maybe it was a tangled mess of tech debt. Whatever the reason, the new version of the app for the 23-24 season is very buggy (can’t even access a box score, duplicate goal details), and it’s horribly difficult to access the areas I used to frequent. Update 31/10/23 - I feel as though I was too understated with my initial review. The new app is just terrible. So many basic things don’t work. I wonder if they talked to any customers/users beforehand as well. What was so simple and what I loved about the previous app was that it went straight to my team’s “home” page. I could know immediately if my team won, see any highlights, check the box score, etc. I may not be the primary user, being a Canadian in the UK, but this still seems like a no-brainer assumption to me to invalidate - to default load the app to a user’s preferred team’s page. In other updates, I tried to use the calendar to go to the missing date when the heritage classic was on and the calendar doesn’t even work. It breaks the app and just keeps going back one day at a time and won’t stop. Get some proper developers and a proper product team on this app, or roll back to last year’s app. I’m sure there is some legacy code base they’re trying to update here but they’ve changed so much and prioritised nothing useful like accessible boxscores during and after the game, and simple calendar functions, and of course just defaulting to your team’s page upon app load. Boo. And for shame.
The new update has made the app so much harder to navigate. What once was easy is now extremely difficult! Layout is not as clear, so many errors and bugs. As a fan from the UK who used this app to keep up to date with the hockey this is making me look elsewhere.
