Don’t need the inspiration lol. Messing up my tunes with all the talking
I’m conflicted. This app has done so much to allow me to progress in my running. The coaching is excellent especially as a beginner. It’s motivating and informative. The programs to prepare for races are phenomenal and flexible. It would easily be a five star app, and I do recommend it to many people, but there’s a big problem. It’s very buggy, especially the Apple Watch features. I constantly have issues with failures to sync, the watch disconnecting from the phone, audio guided runs failing to download to the watch, and runs that get totally lost altogether. I have a series 8 Apple Watch that’s less than a year old, so I really don’t think it’s a hardware issue. If these bugs ever get fixed, this would easily be the best running app out there.
Nike has made my running experience 1000% more enjoyable! Tracking speed, distance and cadence all while coaching you through tough times during your run. The badge system just works so well. I’ve always hated running but this app just seems to be the exception.
I enjoy using this app for the most part, and never had an issue with it until recently. I am currently doing one of the training plans and the app almost never tracks and records my indoor/ treadmill runs!!! It is so frustrating to feel the accomplishment of completing a workout, only to find that it hasn’t been recorded in the app, and there’s no way to manually mark the workout as completed. This is a MAJOR flaw and should be addressed immediately!
I like how straightforward this app is. It tracks progress really well
Might be an Apple thing but I run with my phone in a hip belt and it’s never accurate, it’s actually way off. I’ll look at my run on the map in the app and it shows a straight line even though I’ve run through neighborhoods. Maybe I just need to switch to the Apple watch as soon as they finally update the actual watch design next. But I’d just say that all of tech is declining. Not much of Apple stuff I consider precise anymore. Maybe Elon is the only one taking precise tech on anymore. American ingenuity is failing.
I’ve been using this app for a few years. As of this weekend I can’t use unit anymore. The access code that it says it is sending to my email is not being sent to my email. I have checked my spam folder and reinstalled the app. But apparently Nike is unable to send the access code anymore so I am locked out of my account and years worth of running data. So sad.
so many instances my progress was lost because the app just stops working mid run. i need to find something better that actually works
Great, easy to follow training plans. Allows you to do as much or as little as you want. For me ready for a marathon and a couple half marathons, definitely Recommend!
I’ve tried just about every running app offered on the iPhone at this point but the NRC app has consistently been the best user experience for me and the current form is so good I would pay money monthly to make sure the guided run coaches all stay on the payroll. The running plans and guided runs are just so much better than the other apps that do charge for their training plans. Minor bug with the Spotify integration I have to keep approving it almost every time I go on a run but other than that it’s a fantastic experience.
