The web version is great but the layout on mobile is terrible. And every single time I try to do anything on the app I get a pop up asking to renew for a year. Really annoying

My dream app. Best app I’ve tried. Stop hopping between home school calendars Microsoft Google Apple task apps. All in one place customisations and local and iCloud backup. Pricey but well worth it I save 30 min a day and more productive (Time blocks fonction). Small dedicated dev team and good tutorials. You can get the app for mac on their site to support. Available through « Steam » of apps for a bit more and gain access to a lot more value, if you are on a tight budget. Monthly plan is ok, you can try it, it’s like 2 hours of learning the basics and shortcuts and you are fonctionnal. Replaced my apple calendar, 2 ToDo apps (task) reminder app, Pomodoro app, OneNote meating app. I use it with obsidian for bigger School notes with a lot of documents and multimedia. But can handle a lot, most of the meeting notes evertday note taking etc. Direct intergration with the task is awesome.

I love the desktop app but feel very limited by the mobile app. The performance is so sluggish, it’s extremely frustrating. I love that features get added but it feels like they add to the existing problems in terms of mobile performance.

I just realised that I can drag an email from the Mail app into NotePlan, and it will show up as a link to the original message. Even more help for a frictionless productivity workflow! This app keeps getting better and better!

This app just keeps getting better and better! Love this new function for transcribing handwriting through AI. It certainly helps if you’re drawing diagrams and does a beautiful job of transcribing my scary weird handwriting. I know a few doctors that could use this. This is the best app I’ve ever brought into my personal and worklife ideal for anybody with even the slightest ADHD. It keeps you on track.

I am a huge analog bullet journal fan, this is replacing notebooks. Linking notes, leaving breadcrumbs to find information later that is important is wild. Something analog notes cannot do with this much ease. I annotate pdfs on the regular for work, I open drawings for construction projects and regularly the pdf management in apple products will glitch and fail. I have had a pdf open all day, annotated the pdf constantly with zero, not once a problem or loss. New experience on an iPad. This is on top of other super fictions this application has.

After exploring every app for several years, I found NotePlan. The author of this app is clearly very thoughtful about designing for personal productivity. Its made a huge difference in the way I keep organized and execute my work.
