Not for vocal fry allergies

Did not manage to complete a single item. If you’re allergic to vocal fry forget about this app.

It's okay

Content is pretty good, UI (as others have pointed out) leaves a lot to be desired. Personally I'd also love a comments section.

Poor overview, no control of the playlist

I guess there’s a lot of content but the app is a huge disappointment. It is crowded, messy, content is difficult to find (especially older articles), and as a user you have no control of the playlist (features like ‘shuffle’, ‘repeat’ and ‘stop at the end of the article’ instead of running through would be helpful. Audm was my favorite thing on my phone for over 4 years, but I won’t be extending the subscription for this one

A jumbled mess

I listen to several NYT podcast properties so I expected to be thrilled by this consolidation. To the contrary, I find that the constant addition of new content to be hard to follow because of the format. I can’t recommend a fix for it, I just offer this measly groan in hopes that someone else can. Meanwhile, I’m moving back to the individual podcasts I follow.
