I love this app, so so much. But, being European, I yearn for metric conversion of ingredients. I find it so odd to measure out non-liquid ingredients in cups or fluid ounces, it makes no sense.
Needs metric conversion!

Nice app to become nicer with unit conversions
This app is simply so very pleasing to navigate. It’s easy on the eyes and the mind. But torture to the stomach, especially if hungry! The designers did a fantastic job delivering a stellar user experience in this regard. I look forward to my little annoyance being thrown out the window when they soon push an update making it possible for users to set default unit preferences so recipes can convert to it where possible, making it completely stress-free for me to “grab-and-cook!” 🙏🏾🫡
To many 401 error messages
I paid for the app for 1 year. I had no problems and I was able to save lot’s of recipes. The subscription came up for renewal (monthly) and renewed via apple and my recipes are gone. I can no longer even save recipes. When I try to search recipes or save them I get 401 error. I’m not a fan anymore!
App crashes iOS16.4 & iPadOS16.4
Longtime subscriber, love the NYT cooking app. Great recipes. Worth 6 stars. Except, since updating iOS and iPadOS to v16.4, the app crashes on both platforms after about one minute. Same problem with The NY Times app. My subscriptions are pretty much useless until this gets fixed. Edit: removing and reinstalling solved it. Back to 5 stars.
Metric System
I’m not the only one asking for this 🐸

Great recipes
The recipes one can find on this app are absolutely amazing. The only thing that is really annoying, is the fact that the search function is basically not working at all. That’s a shame. I usually just come across recipes I want to cook, it’s hard to find a specific one.
Normally 5* but update has bug
Along with the new update today, none of my feed will load, with the error “http 500”. Normally love the app but bummed I can’t look at anything except presaved recipes
