I don't understand why you removed number challenge and one-time codes, I used it 99% of time instead of a phone.

Description
Okta Verify is a lightweight app that is used for 2-step verification so you can confirm your identity when you sign in to your Okta account. This gives you an extra layer of security so that you - and only you - can access your applications.
When you sign in to Okta, you can use Okta Verify to obtain a temporary 6-digit code or to approve a request notification sent to your device (your organization must enable notifications to use this feature).
Okta values your privacy. Okta Verify does not store personal information - we request permission only for your device camera, which is used to scan a QR code to register your device with Okta.

I’ve been using the authenticator for a week, today I’ve opened the app and my paired account is gone, and I can’t login. Wondering why can’t I use a different third party app, like Google Authenticator to verify myself.

New notification view unfriendly
The new style of notifications is pretty unfriendly. I used to do swipe left, manage, yes it’s me/approve, go on. With the new info popping up in the notification area, it - with a delay - moves the action buttons lower on my screen so I misstap while I really want to just approve and move on, back to focus work. I don’t really care about the location nor the device, especially since reported as unknown. Poor UX!
Easy to use
I love the Watch app, as it allows confirming without touching the phone. I just wish the message was a lone shorted, to the confirm button would be visible without having to scroll. Please consider improving this.
