What to expect during your appointment?

After booking your appointment, you’ll be connected to a licensed veterinarian or veterinary technician via video chat.

Similar to an in-person appointment, the licensed veterinarian or technician will ask you questions about your pet and their health history. They may also want to see your pet up-close to better examine them and gather more information about a tentative diagnosis.

The vet will let you know what the next steps are (such as booking an in-person appointment, sending you a prescription, how to treat at home, etc.)

That’s it!

Why choose Vetster?

Thousands of pet owners trust Vetster and our five-star rated virtual vets. Pets love it too because fewer trips to the vet mean less stress for them! Best of all, creating an account is 100% free!

Knowledgeable and kind

Animal lover02 on

Dr. Sacks is knowledgeable and made me feel better about my cats symptoms. This appointment was convenient. My cat stresses out and I didn’t need to add more stress because I was able to do it at home.

Gordon’s visit

Gordon visit on

Dr. Banks was wonderful. She explained everything to me. She had me turn the camera so that she could look at Gordon every area that he was having problems with she explained the prescriptions that he was going to be put on and why he needed to be put on them and how they were gonna help him and even recommended doing allergy test so that we can get down to exactly everything that he’s allergic to and maybe change his food or whatever it is that we have to do.

Love this app.

Excellent services

5xjpaz on

Was clear and kind, informative and very helpful offering discount due to multiple pets to help with cost for all my puppies treatments . Very impressed with this app , only wish I knew about it sooner , saves the hassle of trying to bring multiple pets especially if sick to transport to a office and have to handle 5 pups alone . I recommend this service to anyone with pets .

Cannot sign in

When I attempt to sign in, no matter which method I use, I receive a “you’re signed in” message. However, I am not signed in and instead still on the sign in page.

It’s all a scam

Not Happy 42zeroniner on

It’s all about buying a subscription then having to use their pharmacy and then you wait so you’re better off just spending your money at your local vet because this is a scam

Canceling at last minute an issue

TallCalGal on

I really like Vetster and I’ve had really good appointments with all the veterinarians. My issue with the program is that Vetster allows the veterinarians to cancel scheduled appointments at the last minute. I’ve experiences this at least four times where I have made the appointment, and scheduled my day around the appointment, only to have the vet cancel on a whim. You receive a message to reschedule and of course at this point there’s nothing available in the same timeslot. It’s very disrespectful, frustrating and it shouldn’t be allowed. Vetster should do a better job of managing this with their registered veterinarians and should ding them when this happens and should drop any vet who does this habitually. Another issue is that if you haven’t had an appointment with the vet that dumped your appointment at the last minute you you can’t rate them. So a lot of these vets that have dropped appointments with their clients have five star ratings. That doesn’t seem right either.

Terrible waste of money. Completely mislead

User00000028 on

Can not actually get meds. Had appt with Joel Lum in Michigan. The only purpose was to get refill for lifelong medications. Dr mislead me -very carefully wording that “not all pharmacies work with vets” that is a complete lie. the Dr does not have a DEA license so while he can technically “write prescriptions” finding a pharmacy that will actually accept his scripts is nearly impossible. Again the only point of the appointment was Rx and this dr knew that before the appointment. 5 days later I get notified my prescriptions are expired? Total waste of my money and time.

Not Helpful

Billie Officinalis on

Don’t pay for this service. It’s not helpful at all. A waist of money.

Great customer care

Achievement horde on

I tried to book a Telehealth call for my pet and due to state law the Vet would not be able to provide what i needed but the support center contacted me before my appointment and let me know so I was able to cancel my appointment and not be charged. I am thrilled with the service even though I never spoke with a Doc.
