2. Backup is not done automatically, the user is responsible for such a backup (IDB file) using features (iCloud, Dropbox, email, FTP ...) exists in iPassSafe to avoid loss of data when device is lost, damaged or any other reason, furthermore iPassSafe is NOT providing any direct cloud service, password retrieval, or backup service for security reason (all data stored on your device only!), user need to decide where to do the backup (iCloud, user's private Dropbox account, user's diskonkey using FTP, or user's email ...), the user is also responsible for this backup safety.

3. Sync is not merging data, you have to keep all updated data on one device and use sync option upload file, then load and activate with a password on all your other devices

DONT USE THIS APP !

Using this app for several years and now it won’t stay open long enough to see stored items. Have tried to contact the developer but they won’t reply DO NOT BUY THIS APP

I can’t use because data disappears from screen before I can read it.

Unhappy

I have a lot of data stored in this app but cannot access any as the screen just flicks over for a second and then back to the menu. Have tried contacting the supplier to no avail. Frustrating and annoying.

Great App

Finally updated for iso15. 👍

Wiped data and can’t even use drop box to upload backup file

I had this issue in previous update and contacted support. No one responded. Fortunately I could download a backup from Icloud and fix it. This time around, I have lost all my data and no one has responded to the support request.

Data goes missing

I have contacted these guys three times in the last few months and never got a reply. After having this app for many years, over the last year or so I would fire up the app only to find it has wiped all my data and has virtually gone back to factory settings. I was using this app to store over 100 logins and passwords. The best I could do was go back to a previous backup which could have been months old. I ended up buying an iPad for the first time to use as a backup. And a few months ago updated from an iPhone 11 to iPhone 12. This app ‘reset’ fault appears in all three appliances. It got to the stage I would have to remember to take a backup every single time I made a change. What’s the point of storing all my passwords in this app only to find every month or two they are gone. Extremely unreliable and no support from the owners. I eventually copied all my data across to iPhone Notes & iPad Notes with ‘locked’ files. Never use this app again.
