Pencil Planner & Calendar Pro

The app worked great up to iOS 17 but constantly crashes when I connect to wifi for syncing.

If you love to plan then it would work well for you but busy people who need something fast paced, efficient & functional would do better with fully digital apps.

Absolutely love the app look and functionality but be warned, once you create a calendar you cannot edit or delete it, so if you make a typo you’re stuck with the typo or you just have to make a new calendar. What’s the problem when you can just hide the calendars that you made mistakes on and are now permanent? That function does not work, I’ve hidden calendars and they still come up as options when adding an event. You also cannot change the Reminders colour from orange, and I despise orange. I emailed the developers and reached out on Instagram too, trying to see if there was a work around of these issues I was missing, but unfortunately no response. Overall love the app but not being able to remove calendars from when I was experimenting is like an itch I can’t scratch and am constantly reminded of every time I plan something

The previews look good and I bought the full version, but it takes a while getting used to it. Which there was a help function or wizard to assist.

I’ve been searching for a practical digital planner for ages. I’ve downloaded and tried numerous apps and even created my own planner. Nothing suited my needs. I found pencil planner almost by accident. Already disillusioned with planners, I decided to give it one more try. I’m so glad I did. I absolutely love it! It works wonderfully with my pencil. I really enjoy handwritten notes. I highly recommend this no-frills, practical and useful app.

Very glad I discovered this app. No more frustrations of digital planners not linked to calendars. Use it daily and the roadmap is insane!

Make it clear that it’s not free :(

It meets all my requirements for planning my day, week, month and year. I love the fact that if I schedule it in on the month planner it automatically reflects on the day. Can’t wait for the rest of the features to be ready (stickers etc).

I loved this app when I first tried it. After purchasing the pro-access for additional services, the app stopped working. And of course, after I had written up pages and pages of budgeting notes, etc. The app freezes upon opening and crashes after a few seconds when opening a page. I can not view my information beyond the Home Screen and even then, it only stays up for no more than 30 seconds before crashing as well. App support never responds to emails and I have not been able to get a refund for my subscription. I held out hope for a response or a fix to restore my saved data, but it has been several months now and I missed my window for refund. The app was highly rated, but after doing a google search, I found this is a common problem. Hoping to save some people a few $$ and a headache with this review. As long as the free version works, have fun with it but don’t rely on this app for anything of importance.

Loved until it stopped syncing written info between phone and iPad. 3 months later still waiting to hear back from support.
